Robert Miller: Difficult to search menu button. Couldn't search menu at first. Developer replied quickly by email with a few recommendations. So a lot of various phones out there. Tough to cover all of them with specific directions. Good chess mini game. Had this on iPhone previously before switching to android device.

Andy Platt: Good Droid Chess Apk I was concerned about the 1 star ratings that said it didn't work with devices that had no dedicated menu button; the developers very quickly responded to a question about this and assured me it did, with a workaround if important. Nothing required, works like a charm. I love the "match your strength" feature and the deliberate mistakes look natural. Board looks awesome and has all important features including emailing mini games. The only minor thing I've noticed so far is that the setup board us limited.

A Google User: TACTICS!! I have an EVO and this is the only apk that I actually use! When I don't understand a puzzle, I go to "play position" and tap the assist button and shredder plays out the mini game. Good method to recognize various strategies.

Samuel Wiley: Gorgeous Features Pros: fast and responsive, awesome auto strength adjustment, "blunder alert" and "evaluation graph" are useful learning programs, and LOTS of chess puzzles which also auto adjust difficulty, supports setting up custom positions for analysis. Cons: can't customize notation style of "analysis mode" output, lower elo AI has no "personality" as in Chessmaster (e.g.: prefers knights to bishops, likes sacrifices..) - instead just occasionally blunders although you can "undo" twice and replay your move to "reroll."
