  Keith Phillips: Apk lets me connect to camera without hassle. Also allows me to format sd & view current photo. Can't view saved clips on the apk another than those locked as emergency...although the blurb on the cam box lets you trust you can view all clips. Have to connect to PC to view video. Overall I'm satisfied enough. Functional dash cam for the cost of a couple of beers.

  Eayd Jaber: Good apk once you receive the hang of it! Main thing is to create sure you have the correct memory card. I thought all memory cards are the same but they aren't and especially for devices that used this apk. I purchased a 32 gb "TF CARD" from Walmart for 12$ bucks after installed everything worked perfectly.

  v f: pleasently surprised how well it works and how simple it is to operate it. awesome video quality, with sound {if you switch it on in settings}. starts recording automatically on engine on and also stops automatically when i turn off engine. one disadvantage though: when you rotate the lense to view place inside vehicle eg passengers, replay video is upside down. need to flip manually! otherwise excellent.

  J Mo: Grate apk for your vehicle DVR once you receive round a few bugs. Works excellent in android device 5.0. android device 7 I suggest turning data off before opening the apk as this can cause problems connecting to the device. As there is no method of stopping a playing recording if the timeline becomes out of sync use return to live(top left button). If you connect your DVR to a pc for power this will lock your device and prevent you from connecting via WiFi.

  Uroš Đurić: I have managed to connect to camera via WiFi. SD card must be inserted before connection to the camera. Before that, when you power plug the camera, check the operation mode (flashing blue and red light), if there is need click on power button on camera to change the mode (there are three modes), and cycle modes until you have camera recording and WiFi turned on / please check the manual for instructions (blue and red light's led flashing and switch). But, WiFi connection is very, very slow, so have on mind that video recorded in HD mode is 3 minute in length by default and that is cca 420MB, so you will have to wait for almost 30 mins to download video on smartphone. It is easier to pull out SD card and transfer videos manually to the PC.

  templeofdooom: Works fine took a while to realize that I have to turn off all data except 168 Wi-Fi in order to receive the apk to connect. Default password was 12345678 this may work on another models from the same manufacturer.

  David Slattery: Place your smartphone in aeroplane mode then turn wireless connection on to connect to the camera. Then the apk finds the camera and appears to work ok. As soon as you reconnect the network (eg 4G) the apk can't see the camera. It seemed a tiny jerky in animation but worked well enough. As other reviewer said, if you wish the video files it might be best to connect the sd card to your computer and read the video files rather than mess around with the apk.

  A Google user: When I bought my second DVR and test to connect my smartphone the apk offered me the two cameras. But when I chose one (doesn't matter which one) the apk closed itself. With one camera it was OK but now it's useless.😕

  Ciaran McLean: The apk works to a certain point. It does let you to connect and view videos but it will not allow me download a video no matter how long or short it is. This wouldn't be an problem but connecying the dash cam to a computer doesn't always work either.

  Khatiya Farrell: The apk seems to have a bug with wireless connection connection. After the dash cam turned on, i have to restart the wireless connection on the smartphone by "forget" previously saved connection and reconnect with password each time to connect to the apk. Also, you can not save the recorded footage directly using the apk but it allows download of the locked/emergency footages. Playback video can be choppy when viewed on the smartphone at x1 speed. Sometime the apk closes when go back and forward on the timeline. hopefully Dev will fix.

  paul ahern: finally got the apk to work. the TF card must be formatted prior to using the DVR. very difficult to connect. eventually had to set the wireless connection to the dvr then test to connect. photos are clear, with some delay. note if the wireless connection does not connect to the camera. the camera is useless as all the setup can only be performed using a connected mobile device with the 168dvr apk.

  MIk Mik: when playing prerecorded video, the clock in the recording is correct but the timeline shows utc and not bst, and so shows an hour difference. Also, trying to download video says no video on place but I am watching it so it is on place. Please fix these problems. Where's the night vision the seller advertised?
