If calibrated properly and used correctly the apk has been shown to be quite accurate. The smartphone must be placed on a tiltable surface or curved surface to let the device to tilt after weight is placed. It will not work if the smartphone is on a fixed flat surface. Watch the demonstration videos for more assist. Requires calibration. Each calibration will use up one calibration credit. 2 - Visual Scale: Use your phones camera to estimate weight of larger objects with some accuracy. Requires a tiny DIY using common household objects and calibration. See the assist section for usage. 3 -Showcase Scales: Here you can view / present easily weight readings stored in the apk, upto 4 readings are accessible. You can then convert them to another troops easily. Just press one of the ‘Weight’ buttons to see the weight stored. Tap the grid pad in the middle to enter a custom weight in the current troops, then you can convert to another troops by pressing the Troops button. In this section you cant actually receive fresh readings. Tips: Do not put objects directly on the screen, if you must then please use a piece of paper, sticky post-it note or a screen protector. Do not let the smartphone to tilt and fall over. You can use a lot of various common objects for calibration like coins, memory cards, batteries etc.. Please create sure your device has tilt sensors working and calibrated properly.
