Aarohan is the annual sports fest of Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, one among the most reputed institutes in the country. Since its inception in 2016, Aarohan has unceasingly progressed each year. Spread over a period of three days, Aarohan, IIT Ropar’s flagship sporting fest, is nothing short of a sporty pageant.Aarohan attracts a wide spectrum of the youth from all over the north India by providing perfect organisational infrastructure facilities and motivation to enable students achieve the zenith of their respective sports performances. Having witnessed over 400 participants and an impressive begin and inaugural by former Hockey Olympian Sandeep Singh in its sophomore edition, the fest has provided students from various colleges and institutes an occasion to participate and explore.The fest incorporates a wide range of outdoor as well as indoor sports activities like cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, tennis and athletics happenings. Every year it is our ardent desire to create the fest bigger and better and with the same vision, the 3 days Fest is scheduled to kick begin from 16 March 2018. In its third edition, Aarohan’18 promises to take a fresh avatar and bring up the tournament to a whole fresh level of a tournament which encompasses dozens of tournaments with an aim to make synergy in the recent edition of fest.Come, feel the adrenaline rush as you war it out to be crowned the best of the best.
