  Bob B: Good safety system. Unbelievable automation, integrates with a lot of zwave and zigbee systems (I use it as my hub for sengled lights) and works well with Alexa. Plus the monitoring is cheap. Saved so much over ADT! Thanks!

  Rachel Maguire: After months of research I finally found a system I was interested in! It has worked good so far. There are some little bugs but nothing that can't be worked around and the company has shown an interest in continual improvement. I haven't had problems with battery life mentioned by others but we are using the key fob instead of the place arming so I suspect that may be the difference.

  Brandon T: Edit: It seems as if both of our phones started working with the geofence today. Mine (s7) and my wife's android device (s9+) stopped working with geolocation almost a month ago. My daughters iPhone still works ok. I otherwise like the apk itself, but geolocation and auto arm/disarm features were one one the large selling points of the system for me. Will modernize review once this is fixed .

  Marcin Szkut: As a safety system, it's best option out there. Ability to select between self and professional monitoring cannot be beaten by their competitors. The android device apk itself should be done better, it doesn't feel like a native Android device experience.

  Keara B: Modernize 9.8.20: Contacted customer service about this problem. They were fast to resolve, reboot gateway. Original: The abode safety system is good, but the apk needs work. The largest trouble is notifications don't always work. We self monitor our house, so we have to rely on notifications from the apk to know something is wrong. The apk used to send me notifications, but now I don't receive any even when we disarm the house and open/close doors. Not sure what changed, but please fix this problem!
