About the application:

AcuStorm is acupuncture application for specialists, students and amateurs. At the moment application supports Traditional, Five-Element, Meridian Style, Dr. Tan's Balance Way and Master Tung's styles of acupuncture. All the functionality and content are divided into tabs with the following key features. Atlas: - three-layer color figures; - single, multi-window and full-screen mode; - zooming and scrolling of figures; - choosing figures and simple pseudo-3D navigation with a history; - displaying points and channels in accordance with needed filters; - displaying point combinations in multi-window mode; - displaying points in the clipboard (an illustration of any texts); - point pop-up summary; - dynamic projections (photos): choose sick place and search its corresponding therapeutic areas. Points: - channel and additional points description from Acupuncture: A Comprehensive Text by Shanghai College of Traditional Medicine translated by John O'Connor and Dan Benski; - channels with the info compiled from a few sources; - channel circuits constructed from the channels similar according to 5 types of connections with their indications, functions, illustrations, and application; - photos and mirrors reflecting correspondence between parts of the human body; - points places clarified by a few reliable textbooks and atlases; - Master Tung's points compiled from a few sources; - Named Combinations such as composed points, Miriam Lee's Ten Points, Dr. Tan's Smart Combos and 12 Magic Points; - flat lists of points with bookmarks for quick access; - searching and filtering of channels and points; - paging and hyperlinks with history; - division of info into the toggled sections keeping their state while paging; - local scalable drawings; - favorites bookmarks; - point categories. Therapy: - point functions, indications, combinations compiled from a few sources; - chapter "Therapy" from the Acupuncture: A Comprehensive Text; - body places with the passing channels, balancing channels according to Dr. Tan, correponding photos, homological anatomical structures, acupuncture points targeting to these places; - searching and filtering of functions, indications, combinations, conditions; - flat lists with bookmarks and filters for quick access; - paging and hyperlinks with history; - displaying point combinations in the atlas in multi-window mode; - division of info into the toggled sections keeping their state while paging; - player notes with chance to display their points in atlas; - favorites bookmarks. In addition: - Balance Assistant - dynamic matrix which helps to choose balancing channels for a set of affected channels; - useful links to appropriate Internet resources with video, figures, text info arranged in a corresponding context; - short assist for each section. Settings: - choosing points nomenclature for displaying (WHO, English, French, etc.); - optional displaying point, channel and vessel names; - choosing point place if various sources specify it differently; - adjusting number of atlas windows; - saving the settings in the cloud. Shop: - division of functionality and content into separate modules, you can select the ones you need; - trying modules during a week; - buying modules for the coins from your balance; - recharging your balance through Google Play purchases; - getting coins to your balance from discount coupons.
