The ADD-LITE is an OBD based vehicle digital dashboard to display your car's RPM, speed, coolant temp, voltage, max RPM, max speed...all in a sports-car-like instrument panel. It's futuristic and truly an useful program that any vehicle guy/girl will love it! We also offer completed ver of ADD-PRO and the ADD-111R specifically for the Lotus Elise/Exige owners! - Connecting via the inexpensive Bluetooth ELM327 OBD2 dongle. Please refer to your Bluetooth OBD2 dongle player manual and paired it with your smartphone first before launching the ADD-LITE. - ADD-LITE will test to connect to the your phone's 1st paired Bluetooth device. If you have multiple paired devices, use "SETUP" to choose the paired OBD device. (TIPS: create your OBD dongle the 1st paired device so the ADD-LITE will connect the OBD at begin up automatically!) - ADD-LITE starts at the NORMAL mode which shows all the useful and real-time info of your car's RPM, speed, max RPM, max speed, coolant temperature, voltage, fuel tank, throttle, and trip (if your car's ECU supports). - ADD-LITE comes with other "EASY" mode - it shows a large and nice speedometer that you can easily glance and know your speed anytime. While RPM, max speed, trip, and time/date are logically displayed at smaller font on the top for easy-n-relaxing driving. - ADD-LITE comes with a convenient SPEED ALERT function. You can configure the over-speed alert from the "SETUP" in the normal mode screen. You can turn on or off the alert with a easy touch of the "ALERT" button (in the normal mode screen). - ADD-LITE comes with a configurable engine red-line setting. You can configure the RPM red-line via the "SETUP" so the red-line matches your vehicle. - ADD-LITE automatically set the red-line to 4000 rpm when the coolant temp is less than 80 degree Celsius as a reminder for you to warm up the vehicle before any spirited driving. - Drop us a note ([email protected]) for any question and comment! (recommending the OBD2 dongle with power switch so you can turn it full off when not using it) 2. In your android device smartphone, go to Setting - Bluetooth: turn on Bluetooth, finding the OBD2 dongle and pairing it (entering 1234 or 0000 if you are asked for passcode) 3. Once the OBD2 is successfully paired, begin the ADD-LITE and watch the cool opening welcome screen. Read and commit to the security warning notice. 4. The ADD-LITE shall begin showing the RPM, coolant temp, voltage, fuel...information of your vehicle is a few seconds.. 5. Click the MPH to switch to imperial system (mph) or km/h to metric system for your local system. 6. You can touch the SETUP to configure the max speed alert and red-line RPM to match your vehicle. NOTE: for security, the Setup is disabled if vehicle is moving. 7. You can turn on (or turn off) the speed alert by simply touch the ALERT button. 8. You can restart the trip count by touch the RESET button. NOTE this count as resetting the trip details so the max. speed, max. RPM, and max throttle... will also be restart. 9. You can change modes by simply swipe to left of right. 10. Touch the "?" for short assist and email contact for supports and comments. 11. Touch OFF to exit the ADD-LITE when you have done using the ADD-LITE. (Turn off the OBD2 or unplug it to save car's battery) 12. Your preference / setting used in latest time will be remembered and applied automatically when you begin the ADD-LITE next time (set it once and use it as a true program daily!) NOTE: Older model of vehicles or older model of OBD2 dongle may restrict and limit certain info NOT accessible for displaying.
