Monitor specific KIA parameters in real-time, including engine and automatic transmission advanced sensor data by adding this plugin to Torque Pro. Advanced EX is a plugin for Torque Pro, extending the PID/Sensor list with more than 10 specific parameters from KIA cars, including: * AT Turbine and Output Speed (*) * AT Oil Temperature (*) * AT Damper Clutch Lockup (*) * AT Current Gear (*) * CVVT Oil Temperature * Fuel Injector Pulse Width / Duty Cycle * Knock Retard (*) * Wastegate Duty Cycle (*) * Turbo Boost Pressure (*) Sensors marked with (*) are not accessible on all vehicles, as it depends on unique engine/parts like Turbo and/or Automatic Transmission. For vehicles with automatic transmission, Lockup is really cool to monitor during a long street trip or even while driving in the town. This is *NOT* a standalone application and will *NOT* work without Torque Pro. Plugin Installation ------------------------- 1) After purchasing the plugin on Google Play, create sure that you see the plugin listed on your Android device device installed apks list. 2) Begin Torque Pro and click on the "Advanced EX" icon 3) Choose the appropriate engine kind and return to Torque Pro main screen 4) Go to Torque Pro "Settings" 5) Create sure that you can see the plugin listed also on Torque Pro by clicking "Settings" > "Plugins"> "Installed Plugins". 6) Scroll down to "Manage additional PIDs/Sensors" 7) Usually this screen will not display any entries, unless you have added any pre-defined or custom PIDs in the past. 8) From the menu, select "Add predefined set" 9) If your license is validated on Google Play you could see an entry for your engine. You may see predefined sets for another engine types, so create sure you pick the right one. If you don't see anything, probably you have an installation trouble or validation error on Google Play. In this case, go back and repeat the installation procedure. 10) After clicking on the entry from the previous step, you could see a few entries added to the Additional PIDs/Sensors list. Note: Some sensors will be calculated real-time based on others. Create sure that you hold all sensors to avoid calculation errors. Adding Displays ------------------------ 1) After adding the extra sensors, go to the Realtime Information/Dashboard. 2) Press the menu key and then click on "Add Display" 3) Choose the appropriate display type 4) Choose the appropriate sensor from the list. Sensors provided by Advanced EX begins with "[KADV]" and could be listed right after the time sensors in the top of the list. More features/parameters will be added in further releases. Cameron Braidwood: This is an perfect APP for my 2005 Kia Sportage, V6 Auto. Works very well with the ELM 327 chip purchased from EBAY where I should see a lot of PID's. Unfortunately, I can not receive the RPM to match the actual gauge reading, would appreciate some assistance. I have also tried this with my 1997 2.0 L Sportage using an adapter plug for the installed KIA 20 Pin diagnostics plug in the engine bay and I can not connect with the ECU. Once more assist would be appreciated.

Dan Beaird: Being a Kia tech I use this all the time with Torque Pro to monitor trans oil temps when doing jobs that require the refilling of trans fluid. Works excellent and those of you complaining are either not using the apk correctly or just don't know what you are doing.

Adam B: Works good for my 2011 Kia Sedona 3.5L. Unfortunately, my 2012 Kia Rondo 2.4L is not supported. Like other reviewer, I got no response from the developer when I inquired about the chance of adding help for my Rondo. It would at least be nice to hear back with an indication of whether or not the developer has any intention of expanding the number of Kia cars that are supported by this apk.

Kamahlaan Thiagarajan: The plugin works good for a lot of the info that can be gleamed from your vehicle. What would be awesome though, is a Feature matrix in the description so that you can search out which sensors are accessible for your vehicle or otherwise. For example, the Current Gear sensor read out is not accessible for Kia Cerato Forte 2.0 (THETA) models, and having bought it most importantly for that sensor, makes it a tiny frustrating.

NSP Channel: It says my boost is 28psi on a stock engine. Max boost from factory is about 17psi. Please fix this. 2014 optima SX Turbo. Create me wonder what another readings are off and not sure if I can believe this now.

Jonathan Colling: I have 2014 Kia Cee'd GT. I bought this addition to torque to check what the knock sensor was reading when using various fuels, but it does not read over 0.0 with green light blinking. I emailed the developer and have not received an acknowledgement so I am disappointed
