Farm Extension Manager (FEM@Mobile) is a mobile application developed in the field of agriculture. It includes info on 100 essential crops of Kerala. The application is created accessible in both English and Malayalam languages. It works in its full features in online mode, and also work in offline mode. The application takes care of the needs of both little, marginal and large farmers. There are ten various categories of info covered under the program. The broad places of info are crop cultivation, plant safety, organic inputs, agrochemicals, agricultural quiz, video gallery, farm posters, expert help, contact directory and apk details. The crops are categorized based on broad groups like spices, vegetables, medicinal plants etc. The crop production aspects cover info on planting, dozens, fertilizer, aftercare and harvest. The button on planting operations will give info on seed material, spacing, planting time, way of planting etc. Info on around 800 suggested varieties, are included under the dozens section. Around 300 fertilizer suggestions, are presented in straight fertilizer format, and unit place basis and per plant basis. Further, the fertilizer info button will create precise info on how much fertilizer to be applied, when and how.
