This apk does not require any extra permissions to access mobile resources. Just as it could be. I loved this apk so much, I bought the pro ver even though the adds were fairly unobtrusive, just because I wanted to help the devs. I am now completely gratis from remote controls.

  Travis Kelleher: Works good on my GS5. It does what it says, functions just like the tiny remote that ships with the Apple TV. The apk says not to have an another remote paired with the Apple TV, but I'm not sure why, as the apk running on my smartphone doesn't interfere with the hard ware remote that comes with the Apple TV.

  Robin Blair: Good product, perfect service! I lost my Apple Remote a few months ago. I found this product, installed it and it works flawlessly. I had one problem where it did not work and I contacted the Developer. He responded almost immediately but, as it turned out, the apk only didn't work because it was updating. I was very impressed that they contacted me do quickly. Totally worth the .99!!
