  Brandon Marine: Large fanatic of this apk! Still playing with setting up a dedicated server. To all those who are giving a awful rating to this apk, it is not possible to create a stand-alone apk for imessage without Apple making it themselves and thats not going to happen. This work around, while still in beta, is a good alternative. Setting up a cheap server on macOS is really simple. Thank you for this apk!

  Andy Topete: I recently created the switch back to the dark side, and was pleasantly surprised to know that this apk existed. The apk is super clean! I really want it had SMS functionality too so I should just use it as my default messaging apk, but maybe in a future modernize. Doesn't take away from how well it works now. Was beautiful simple to setup, and its always good to now have iMessage functionality wherever you go ☺️

  David Mednikov: This apk works excellently. The interface looks good and it does a awesome job of re-creating the iMessage interface on Android device. Yes, you need a Mac but that's the case with any iMessage workaround on Android device. I had used other apk in the past (weMessage) and AirMessage is far superior in every method. Better interface, less bugs, loads all messages and content without problem, installation on the computer is simple, etc. Large thanks to the developer for making an good apk!

  Mark: I prefer Android device, but am needed to carry a work-issued iPhone. While I can receive my email on my Android device smartphone as well as forward my calls, my dispatch pages were locked to my iPhone due to being unable to auto forward them. This setup is the solution to my trouble! Both SMS and iMessage forwards equally well and very quickly. Running the server on a used Mac Mini 2010 I picked up on eBay solely for this purpose.

  Matt Salis: Just to clear some things up. This is not the first apk of its type. This apk is less buggy than the original iMessaging apk. For everyone asking, there will never be a windows or linux ver because iMessage does not run on windows or linux. This works good for me because my wife is a blue bubble snob. I recently switched from iPhone. I setup my server on my wife's old Macbook Pro that was just laying around. Fast responses from tech help.

Fine i just read some of the awful reviews.... what is wrong with you people "I need a Mac to use a Apple messaging service." Yeah that generally how things work. When it comes to google services google is cross platform they offer their services to anyone that can use them and chooses to use them. Apple is an inclosed code and service.

  jason hu: good work. this apk is not for everyone. i do mobile development myself. sometimes, I need to use an Android device smartphone for a while, the iMessage is the only thing that drives me nuts if I don't use iPhone. all my family use iPhone, those blue notice group is a assassin if you understand what I'm saying. i had the related idea as this, thought about implementing one myself, but it's too much work. I'm really grateful that someone did it already.

  Brandon Woods: Once upon a time, there was a workaround that provided imessage on android device-- but i found it to be a tiny clunky. This seems to be a lot more stable, with a better GUI. (and if you're downvoting it because you think android device players don't have a mac or you don't understand why a mac would be required to push proprietary items... you're really doing the apk a disservice)

Seems a tiny silly to use it merely for imessage, but I guess another people use imessage a lot more than me?
