About the application:

In partnership with local law enforcement, Alertizen lets you know when a possible crime is occurring in your neighborhood or around you by sending you a notification so you can stay out of harm's method and become the eyes and ears of the police. Initially accessible for the University of Toledo campus, you can simply set up to 3 monitoring places of each of the campuses! Alertizen then goes to work monitoring those places for you. When a 911 call of a possible crime is reported within one of your set places, Alertizen will send you a notification with the kind of crime reported and the place. The mission of Alertizen is to Hold People Secure and Out of Harm’s Method and Make Engaged and Vigilant Neighborhoods to help the Police Department. Your police department also uses Alertizen to send you necessary and timely info similar to your neighborhood to hold you secure and informed.
