Cosmin Marcu: Perfect apk AlpineQuest is other product by psyberia which I really appreciate (together with OfflineMaps+). Be patient when you begin using it and test to understand that it has a lot of features which had to be grouped and condensed to please all its players. Beaside of the number of maps that I should use, I was really impressed by the tracking stats: a lot of useful details which can be saved in various formats for later use. Private opinion: best hiking/tracking apk.

I thought OSMAND is excellent, but I was wrong. This one is. Track info are good. Pause and Resume tracks. Download the maps you wish in style, size and place. GREAT!!!!

David Gibson: Full featured map apk. Best OpenStreet map viewer I've used. Supports Google, Bing and loads more maps. The combination of GPS & downloadable begin maps is a good combination, especially where it's hard to receive a mobile signal. GPX import is useful too.

Tony Rothrock: Yep Tried the gratis ver. Liked it a lot. Decided I not only wanted the additional features, I also wanted to help developement of apks as awesome as this one. Compass feature should use a tiny tweaking. The mapping features are hard to beat - Multiple sources, overlaying multiple with transparancy; really lets you customize your map view. Very useful.

Guy McKenzie: Brilliant apk. Quite simply does exactly what I need to. Satisfied to use a map and compass but wanted proper gps backup from my smartphone could I need it in places where online mapping is simply not possible due to signal quality. Played about with the apk for an hour or so and it will do everything I require of it using the map format I required.

Doug Livezey: Replaced my GPS This apk has replaced my standalone GPS for day hikes. When used with a Samsung S4 both the distance and elevation are accurate. Battery life is the only reason it has not replaced my GPS for multi day trips.

Geoff H: This continues to be my favourite mapping apk. I use it with my old qct OS 25 maps which I have loaded onto my smartphone. The apk reads them ok and gives me full map reading and tracking function off line. In the UK I use it in conjunction with the current OS online website to plan walks in advance. For National Park places that hat has a really neat method of creating gpx tracks from footpaths. Download the tracks to AlpineQuest..... And job done. Good apk!

Shane Powell: Good apk! While most apks of this sort rely upon google maps this one allows the player to download maps from a lot of various sources. Full featured, but at the same time very player friendly for something that allows the level of customization that this one does. I work in the field 99% of the time, locating websites method back in the wilderness far from man, civilization, cell and net access. This apk allows me to locate websites and gets me to them by dead reckoning. This apk reduces my workload considerably.
