The only solution it to force to stop in the apk management. Please, solve this and will have the 5 stars. Sony Z5 EDITED! Now it runs excellent and it closes.   Bob Pickering: I originally picked this apk because of the really big digital display without any unnecessary animations or another silly distractions. I use it for mountaineering (where there is no cell or Wi-Fi service), and my smartphone doesn’t have a barometric sensor (which isn’t terribly accurate anyway). I therefore only use the GPS altimeter. It responds quickly and is accurate when I check it versus known elevations on a map. If you care about battery life, be sure to exit the apk (“BACK” and then tap “EXIT”) when you aren’t actually using it.

  Bob H.: Perfect apk! I loved the gratis ver so I went ahead and got this, the graph is very handy as is the automatic calibration. Only complaint is it does not present the altitude readout in both feet and meters under the analog gauge as it does in the gratis apk. If there was an option to enable this, it would be unbelievable.

Anyways, two little feature recommendations: option to display climb rate also in meters per hour, which is nice for sports, now accessible, thank you!. And optionally graph pressure in long intervals, which would create it a stationary weather station.

  George Smythe: In general, a neat apk. Good promise. To receive the latest star from me, will need a change + fix: When calibrating from the internet, if the chosen airport fails for any reason to provide data, the apk could AUTOMATICALLY choose the nearest one that actually IS providing data. This could be totally hands off if place services are providing even a course position. It would be helpful if a display on the left side (like the calibration window on the right) showed the airport code from which the calibration was taken, in white if closest, and in yellow or orange if a closer airport should not provide a value. Additional credit: Click on the indicator (above-described left calibration indicator) to receive a Google Map showing the current device place, the airport providing the calibration (blue or green marker device) and any closer one(s) that should not provide data (orange / red device).

  A Google user: Fine well the apk is good. As far as being accurate. This thing is good it detects changes as little as a few inches. However you must understand that there are little changes in atmospheric pressure all the time especially when there's clouds in the sky so you have to hold up with the changes by calibrating with the local air ports. And if you are using this in your vehicle hold the windows up and if you are using the AC or heater hold it on Recirculate. This apk would have gotten 5 stars if it were not for 2 things. one the chart during tracts just seams to pick random times it definitely doesn't use the smartphone clock. The another trouble is clicking on the link to the developer goes nowhere.

  Kyuhwa Lee: I measured at cabane tracuit (3256m) but it was reporting as around 3100m. Also, it was reporting around 100m lower at bishorn. However, it works well on grounds lower than 1000m. Perhaps it does not work well in high altitudes? I was using barometer as sensor.
