Discover the ancient ruins, survive to the bottom level and save the world. Every time you play the mini game will make a fresh dungeon full of challenges and surprises for you in 5 various environments populated with creatures and ancient magical artifacts. There are eight various user classes, each one designed with an special play style. Some of them are combat focused while others must rely on the stuff found on the dungeon to survive. As you advance through the mini game, you will search more than 40 various creatures with distinct skills and features, you will be able to charm them using magic spells and create them follow you in your quest; using ancient magic found in the dungeon you will also unblock the powers and skills hidden on their evolved forms. Unlike classic roguelikes adapted to modern media, in Ananias there is no cumbersome movement or complex commands, however all the features from the genre that create the mini games fun are kept: turn based combat, random level generation and long term item tactic are among the things that create every journey into the dungeon enjoyable. You can also play along with your mates in the online mode; the mini game hold all mates up to date with their adventures in true time, so you can set up challenges or just have fun seeing your friend's heroes die in the dungeon. There are 8 classes, each one with its own strengths and weaknesses: Alchemist * Shoots liquid at opponents (Acid, Liquid Fire, and another potions) * Can mix reagents into potions without danger of explosion. * Starts with strong potions (Flame Potion for example which deals a lot of fire hurt when thrown) Arcane * Can cast the most strong spells without danger of backfiring * Extends power of magic wands * Starts with strong spells (like Charm Creature which makes any monster become your ally) Paladin * Can use all weapons and armor * Blocks attacks using his shield * Extends lifetime of weapons Hunter * Never misses a shot with a bow * Performs critical hurt with bows * Prevents arrows from breaking The levels in the dungeon are randomly generated every time you play, so you have to discover the level gathering useful equipment and looking the stairs to the next level, while avoiding death and managing your limited resources. ...will you drop your spare weapon and carry this potion with you, knowing it should be useful on the next level? ...will you risk attacking a group of opponents to fetch that strong armor that should save your life? or will you better run away to save your hitpoints ...will you withstand the opponent attacks to reach the backrow and slay the phantom who is constantly healing all others? ...will you carry with you that strong weapon to use it versus powerful opponents two levels below, even if that means using up inventory place and attacking with a weaker weapon? MiÅ”o DeĆ”k: A good mini game overall. Tactical thinking is really important to receive forward in the dungeon. I trust that there are few bugs, though. When you receive sick in one level and you use the curing spell in other your combat does not recover although the mini game says so. Sometimes also the stuff occur very erratically. Either you search only reagents or only ingredients. Or there are no weapons to be found. Also it happened to me twice that I have encountered two advanced opponents right in the first room at the begin of the mini game. Some balance problems I suppose. Fun to play anyway.

Jrz Boy: Loving it so far I usually don't like rogue like mini games due to the fact that the ones that I've played before suffer from clunky movement, overpowered opponents, confusing menus, and lack of equipment. William LaChapelle: Latest modernize broke archer *Modernize* problem listed below fixed. Rating changed to reflect it. -- Found bows are now all unloaded, and arrows are very rare to search. That's like making all the magic player weapons uncharged, or all of the melee weapons broken. It renders the archer useless after the starting arrows run out. Please fix this. Also, check the algorithm for level gifts. Getting 24 "Unlucky" in a row across a handful of mini games sucks. 5* once more when fixed.

Kenneth Melo: Needs landscape mode This is a good mini game. It took me quite awhile to search an rpg like this that I would actually have fun and wish to hold playing. It's got everything I love about a rogue rpg. The only thing I have a trouble with is there's no landscape mode and maybe more pets and pet interactions I guess. Another than that, perfect job!
