  I own a Honda Accord 2016 and Android device Auto is honestly a million times better than apple vehicle play. I used to own the iPhone 7 plus and switched my provider from Sprint to Verizon thus leading to my fresh smartphone (Galaxy S8+) and the best thing was having a default Navi of iMaps switch to Google Maps. The only downfall is that the screen tends to randomly test sleeping on the vehicle like it does on my smartphone but wakes up in a matter of a second. At first I thought I got a notification or the touch screen was picking up senses from nowhere but it was just the screen timing out and coming back. It's extremely subtle but can receive annoying after a while especially if you're waiting for a notification.

Everything you need to work well in the vehicle does so. before Android device auto I would dock my smartphone while connected via Bluetooth and the voice to text would never work well, but on Android device Auto it seems as though it's been optimized to understand my voice from a distance because it always works. Making calls, navigation and melody all work well. Anything that I feel is too restrictive is also probably safer for me in the vehicle so I receive it. It forces me to be safer in the vehicle which I appreciate considering I have two children. If there is ever a hiccup with some feature it gets very quickly addressed. Awesome work, Google!

  Good option to interface with your phone in your vehicle. Access to Google maps, melody apks and more along with Google voice, so you can do it all with voice commands. I have a tiny problem connecting every now and then, typically restarting my smartphone does the trick, but outside of that I use it everyday
