  Paul S: Good apk Works good on my Samsung S3, Just want it had a vol level control or voice on/off feature. Ooooops. Just found the mute button. On my Samsung S3 running Android device 4.1.1, the audio mute button looks like a bar graph rather than a speaker as indicated on the pictures.

  Joerg Beigang: No caching of maps possible? The apk looks quite awesome. The downside is, I wasn't able to cache the maps. So I wasn't able to use this apk in territories with no signal. Even in territories with signal it is quite useful to use cached map data in order to save battery. Without this limitations I would rate 5 stars.

  Canadian Tracks: The compass screen in the driving mode does not work properly. When turning from South to East, the bearing actually changes from South to West! I changed it to non-bearing compass mode and that works properly. So the dev surely has a bug somewhere. Also, when showing speedometer at km/hr the increments go from 80 to 120 with no 100 between. So I recommend the dev change the scale for driving to let a lower top limit and also to create sure km/hr shows a 100 measure. The driving screen also has no mode where it just shows the altitude, compass and speedo without all the another mode buttons taking up valuable screen place. When these things are fixed, it will be quite awesome and maybe even the best out there for the task.

  Robert Androyd: If you re-enable landscape view you can have 5 stars once more This really is a 5 star apk, and I used it on a long trip this summer with good satisfaction.... when it still allowed landscape view. The latest modernize is now forcing portrait view only on my Nexus 7 2013 smartphone, which is most disappointing. Please correct this so that I can award this apk its otherwise-well-earned 5 stars.
