  Brian J. Morgan: Modernize: this apk works ok. My earlier issues were being caused by the server to which I was connecting. If you need a good telnet client to connect to a BBS, this is what you wish. The ANSI colors and extended ASCII heroes display perfectly. The built-in keyboard ensures no part of the standard 80x25 screen size is covered up. I have experienced some slight delays while the translation occurs before the screen properly displays, but even with some complex "graphics," it works ok.

  Erik Gifford: My BBS doesn't seem to think this apk is a completely ANSI-compatible terminal. WWIV won't display the welcome graphic when I connect or disconnect. Also, there is a weird scrolling result where every another hero scrolls down at once, followed by the others, creating a checkerboard result.

  Jesse Stredicke: Note 5. Tenet system does work, there was no color or ansii function when first logging in to BBS server, this was a client modernize problem. I simply found the ansii command ( =a ) and color and ansii worked. 4 stars because it does work as advertised. Not 5 stars because it cost me a buck when another apks do the same for gratis (in portrait screen with my own keyboard) and because it is stuck in landscape style with gay pink keyboard that barely works.

  David Snyder: This is a ok apk. Although, it would be nice, that if the buttons that are by themselves should be larger. I have really big fingers. I can hardly touch them. Second maybe a dial list list. But this apk fill the needs of the ANSI telnet terminal.

  John Hiemenz: Renders ANSI well, doesn't answer well to auto-detect from BBS, but if you manually set to colors and ANSI it seems to work. For smartphone use with attached/bluetooth keyboard, is a must to be able to minimize/hide on-screen keyboard, also - while the apk recognizes most keypresses on my attached keyboard, it does not recognize the Enter key. I hope to see this apk continue to improve and add features..

  Jon Verrett: I have been searching for a long time for a real ANSI terminal to us as a client on my mobile device to log on to my BBS and now I have found it. It is the 1st tool that I have found that displays the High Ansi heroes properly. Kudos to the developer! The only draw back is that it dose not allow the BBS tool (Synchronet) know that it is an Ansi capable terminal so I have to force it in my player settings so when I fist log in I am only getting the Ascii screen but once logged in it changes to full Ansi! I would love to give this tool a full 5 stars but I'll give it 4.5 if the BBS can ever Auto detect this tool it's Give it a 5+

  Stuart Cappendell: Lack of ESC key on the onscreen keyboard is a pain with a lot of BBS. Onscreen keyboard is also somewhat unresponsive. A haptic response would also be nice, since the keypads are hidden from sight by my fingers.

  Bryan Lunduke: The ANSI looks mostly right. The custom keyboard is not awesome for BBS mini games (no numeric keypad, etc.) And can't be swapped out for another keyboards. Also can't use a Bluetooth keyboard. The apk is perma-stuck in landscape mode... Would be handier, on a smartphone, in portrait mode. Fix those problems and this would be a 4 or 5 star apk.

  Darryl Perry: I'm giving this a test on my ODROID desktop running Android device 4.4.4. I have an attached USB keyboard and mouse, but the apk won't recognize the keyboard. I can't receive the built-in KB to appear. Clicking on the buttons has no result.

  Darryl Perry: Needs arrows and the ESC key, and all the another movement keys. Would like to see arrow keys and escape keys. My bbs has a lot of features that require arrow key input, and that use escape to exit. Those features don't work without those keys. Also, I have a full screen notice reader, and the ANSI frame to the reader gets printed, but the text of the notice does not.

  Eric Corsi: Good apk and love the ansi compatibility. I would rate higher if I should hide the keyboard and use my own. The keyboard is my only hangup with this apk.

  David Stephens: Keyboard stays active on the screen despite not being needed (I have a bluetooth keyboard attached). The screen with isn't configurable - and it's not quite wide enough for standard BBSs when in landscape mode.

  Matt U: Just started the apk up on a Sony xperia m and the boot screen loads for the apk, and changes form portrait but then stays black. With no menu's. Just the android device system menu on the side.
