A Google User: Good once more (after fix!) Modernize to 3.0.09073 failed completely on me (VPN connections couldn't be established anymore due to, probably, a client certificate trouble). After complaint/feedback to Cisco, they took me very seriously, got in contact almost immediately and were working on a fix. I can confirm the fix created the vpn connection working once more. The fix will probably be released in the next days on Google Play Shop. Thanks Cisco! That was an outstanding service!

A Google User: Finally we have some Sony help First allow me say this apk works good, so this is no awful review of the apk. I have seen it work on another Android device tablets and my iOS devices. I just want Sony would resolve their problem with no tun.ko kernal module so Sony players can use the vpn with a factory setup. I made a ticket with Sony and got it to levle 3 help (engineering) but have heard nothing back since and really don't expect to. I think it is working with a Sony S rooted device and a custom tun.ko module so I guess that is the method I have to go. I have seen a few Sony customers here with the problem so if anyone from Sony is reviewing this, how about helping us out with an OS modernize so we don't have root our devices to receive Cisco Anyconnect working. Modernize: Sony tech contacted me and said Eng said they would not add tun.ko kernal module. I asked for a better reply thank just no. He agreed and went to his manager which resubmitted it to Japan. Modernize: Fresh modernize for Sony S Smartphone came out today and nothing was listed for tunneling kernal module in the release notes, but now Anyconnect client works excellent. So for Sony players trying the receive Anyconnect, you might wish to test the recent modernize. (4.0.3 release5).

SAHIL GOGNA: Programatically establish anyconnect connection in background. Can we programatically establish Anyconnect connection from some another application in android device. In my case to use a Intranet application, connection to VPN is needed, I don't wish to explicitly click on the anyconnect icon every time before opening my Intranet Application. Connection invoking and establishment could happen in the background and anyconnect could automatically connect to the default Cluster which is already certified using the certificate installed on the android device device for anyconnect.
