While missions can be completed whilst detected, the real art of stealth is to achieve 100% stealth scores for your missions. They key to any stealth mini game is to be patient and observe the situation and then take measured and planning action accordingly. The mini games use the concept of "active" against "passive" moves, with "active" moves, such as running, climbing the sides of buildings, or jumping between rooftops, more likely to alert the attention of nearby guards.
