Jump to images by date, save them to your image roll, set as your device wallpaper, or share them with mates. Choose your favorites for simple viewing anytime. And, see previews and descriptions for video APODs. Wish that recent Hubble image as a background? Then APOD is for you. Features: A fresh astronomy image every day, with an explanation written by a professional astronomer. View a gallery of previous APOD photos (more than 7000 since 1995), and jump quickly to any date. Display video APODs with preview photos in the gallery, just like image APODs. Select an APOD from the gallery to see it in full-screen mode, then swipe quickly between APODs -- no need to return to the gallery.
