AppRadio Unchained Reloaded allows full mirroring of your smartphone from your AppRadio. This means that any apk can be controlled from the head unit screen and not just a few that are specially adapted.For this apk to work ROOT is needed. Do not ignore this requirement and blame the apk for not working!ImportantThe 'Phone setup' on the head unit needs to be set correctly for Android device as by default it's configured for Iphone.   • Justin Vanderhorst: Everything You Wish & More I must say I was hesitant to purchase this apk , I have been using Arunchained/GPS injector for a year with no problems and it worked 90% flawlessly so I just didn't see a reason to purchase . But the Ocd in me for things to be excellent kicked in and I purchased it and I am overwhelmed. It connects 100% and super fast.I was using a permanent install s3 I have sinced bought a s4 to replace that one and I absolutely love it. I'm gonna do other video soon as I already have one showcasing my gs3 and aru.

I've called and sent numerous emails to them and have gotten no resolution. Pioneer could be ashamed of themselves for not providing any help for their customers. Thanks Place 51 for your hard work as it is definitely paying off. Quick and simple set up.

For those wondering all Samsung phones don't help landscape on the home screen so receive a launcher to fix it, I'd suggest the nova launcher as that's what im running ATM

  • Jay: GPS not working......... Device: Samsung Note 3 SM-N900P (Rooted, obviously). Carrier: Sprint. ROM ver: Kit Kat 4.4.4 (Stock). Mock places: Enabled. Hardware Overlays: Disabled. Head Unit: Pioneer AVIC-8000 NEX. Symptom is as follows: Connects and transmits audio and video to the head unit via HDMI/MHL as usual. Also transmits touch inputs to the screen (via Bluetooth) , but does NOT transfer the GPS data (does for like 1 second, then cuts off). Please Assist, Thanks! EDIT: Got it working. Reinstalled Google apks!

  • Wouter Reyniers: Works...every time On HTC One (m7). The pioneer based apk would connect 60% of the time even with a working blue tooth connection. With reloaded if works 100% of the time. I did have to enable "Start/Stop on HDMI" as it wouldnt always connect without it. I had been disappointed with the Appradio because it never worked quite right. No longer. This apk makes me satisfied I didn't return my radio.

  • jay pidlaoan: Running s5 w/moar rom Running aru 4.4.2 w/moar Rom and works good when mhl is connected but the mhl adapters for galaxy phones are crap. Trying to use chromecast instead. Smartphone connects to chromecast and screen casts but can't receive aru to connect and just says waiting for hdmi connection. I know it has something to do with the smartphone but any idea how I can receive aru to connect without having to physically connect the mhl adapter? Thanks

  • Chris Bentley: Excellent for note 4! Installed arliberator and couldnt receive it working for the life of me.i have a galaxy note 4 and have heard of smartphone problems with all of these apks. I took the plunge and bought this apk hoping it wouldnt give me problem. I left all the boxes that were checked in the calibration settings alone and plugged it up and it worked within five seconds once it connected via bluetooth.YOU NEED NOVA LAUNCHER TO MAKE THE SCREEN FIT THE APP RADIO. Nova launcher barely changes the look of the os stock so dont worry.
