  Cleva Don: Not sure why companies feel the need to invent a high end product and control the consumer's full access to their 100% owned property. Appradio 3 + Galaxy s6, s7 & s8 buyers suffered a good deal as a effect (discontinuation of MHL technology), so here's a large THANK YOU to the genius Apk designer of this apk. Thank you for giving me back something that I paid and worked hard for. Not only that, but you enhanced the product unspeakably, all for 20 dollars & some change. Your mind will forever be appreciated and respected my mate.

  Fernando Casillas Jr: Works with Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920T with the NRD90M.G920TUES5EQG1 build of Andoid 7.0, Pioneer AVH-4200NEX, and Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter V2. On the first use, if your smartphone has a hardware home button you have to use your smartphone to return to the home screen. On subsequent uses, the stereo will emulate the android device home, back, and overview/recent apks buttons. The resistive touchscreen on the stereo leaves much to be desired. My Pioneer has a resistive touchscreen. A capacitive touchscreen would improve the experience. The AppRadio 4 doesn't have Android device Auto, but is less costly and has a capacitive touchscreen.

  Paul Robinson: Been a long time player of arunchained with a rooted HTC one X, switched to a non rooted Samsung Galaxy s8 so moved to this apk. What can I say but unbelievable, good help from the developer over on xdadevelopers, after a bit of fiddling it works perfectly with my smartphone connected to a screenbeam mini 2 and pioneer appradio 3. Begin the vehicle and within 30 seconds my smartphone is completely mirrored on the head unit.

  jaros s: Works as promised. The Pioneer headunit could have come this method originally. Thankfully Area51 is around to create things right! Hardware: LG V20 (VS995), Pioneer AVH‑4200NEX, Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2. I was thinking about rooting my smartphone to receive around the input limit in Android device Auto, but full mirroring is better anyway, and I like to avoid rooting my smartphone if I can assist it. I have a f qualms with the setup but the apk is not at fault for either. One is that there is a delay between my input and the smartphone responding. In part, this is due to using a wireless setup, and in part its the nature of how input is handled through this setup. The another is that there is no method to automate wireless screen sharing. To receive around this, I made a macro in the apk "Macroandroid" launching a shortcut using the apk "Fast Shortcut Maker" to the screen sharing settings, triggered by when my smartphone connects to the bluetooth on the 4200NEX. This at least brings up the toggle to enable screen-sharing quickly. The another problem is that there seems to be no method to turn the screen on the smartphone completely off while screen sharing.

  Daniel V: Although I don't suggest it because it adds an additional layer of complication, I WAS able to receive this to work with a Roku streaming stick using Apk Radio 4 & a Galaxie s7. Thank You so much for making an unrooted ver! I can finally use my expensive Apk Radio for things another than Bluetooth streaming.

  Rob Culpeper: Good application, does not work with my Google Pixel due to the limitations of Chromecast help. The Google Home application does not recognize the phone's mobile hotspot as a WiFi network and this is a large drawback once getting in the vehicle. I will most likely make batter to a Galaxy and return but for now it's back to my rooted Android device Beelink and the AR Unchained Rooted. I still consider this a 5 star product for providing a full player experience for Pioneer owners.

The Root ver works good on my lgg4 but I can't figure out how to use the rootless ver on my fresh s8+. is there any method that I can wirelessly cast without hooking up my smartphone directly? or am I stuck using some sort of MHL cable? do you have a tech help email?

  Chris Zerbe: Apk works good! Currently on Pioneer AVH-X8850BT coupled with Oneplus 5 running Android device 7.1.2 and using Actiontec Screenbeam mini 2 with recent updates. Only problem I have is unfortunately awful audio quality... Not sure why? When streaming via Bluetooth directly to head unit it is excellent but when using the ARu via Hdmi the sound becomes true tinny :( still trying lots of settings changes... Once the sound is right this will quite possibly be the best apk on my smartphone!) good job Dev! Any ideas why the sound would have awful quality via hdmi? (tried hardwired too... Same effect)

  Jannick Missihoun: I previously used AR unchained reloaded on appradio 2 and rooted note 3, no problems. I just bought a note 8 and AR rootless with the same apk radio however I receive stuck at the waiting for hdmi signal screen when connecting with Screencast. I'd give more stars if I should receive it to work but perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I'll play with this a tiny more and request a refund if unable to figure it out. Any assist is appreciated though.
