  P Reeder: It seems to take a long time to load the list. Articles concisely written. Links work well. Plant lists covers a dozens of indoor, annual, perennial, grasses and woody for a dozens of temperature zones. The apk is fine but the authors ebooks are so much better for overall coverage and study, though there is duplications within each ebook. Modernize 2021: Apparently problems with loading apk is strength of one's internet connection.

  A Google user: As awesome as what this list does include, its scope is very much restricted: "Armitage's Greatest". It does not include Campanula, Aster, Hakonechloa, Carex, Iris, Liatris, Digitalis, Hosta, Cosmos, etc. It does not claim to be comprehensive. Hessayon's 'Flower Expert', for instance, includes a lot more. The list is based on his extensive private observations and seems authoritative. Very friendly and informative, but idiosyncratic in choice of plants. It's not a vade mecum for a trip to the nursery.
