Assessing AAB Patterns with Q&A is a self-contained assessment program that mirrors its corresponding Learn and Play apk. The apk is designed to collect digital assessment evidence as the kid independently demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of AAB patterning concepts. ASSESSMENT TASKS Assessment tasks in the apk contain * Finishing AAB patterns * Making AAB Patterns * Colouring AAB Patterns * Drawing AAB Patterns PLEASE NOTE - This Apk requires access to your TABLET'S MEMORY to STORE JPEG photos of completed assessment tasks. SUPPORTS 3 DIFFERENT ASSESSMENTS Assessing AAB Patterns with Q&A can be used for: 1. Pre-learning assessment of existing knowledge 2. Formative assessment during the learning process 3. Summative assessment at the end of the learning process. Assessing before, during and after any learning experience provides a clear indication of a child's existing knowledge, their developing understanding and the ultimate mastery of the relevant concepts. These photos contain the child's name and their responses to each assessment task. So they can be used as supporting assessment evidence for reporting purposes. Also, the photos can be printed and stored in a paper based student file or uploaded into a digital e-portfolio recording system. STRESS FREE ASSESSMENT Assessing AAB Patterns with Q&A also contains a number of 'just for fun' brain mini games that reward kids for completing each assessment task while breaking the continuous assessment cycle and its associated anxiety.
