  Fraser Hetherington: Coming from octoprint I love the integration that astroprint provides, allowing me to use it on my laptop, smartphone and through touch on my raspberry pi, the method I can check out thingiverse and then print straight to my monoprice delta is good. Having used both octopi and this I wouldn't go back to octoprint which beautiful much sums up how awesome astroprint is

  Chris Johnstone: Fantastic that this service is gratis. I built an astrobox in two days locally (NZ). I loaded their firmware onto it and stick it under my Rep 2X. Worked perfectly out of the box. Since then, I have done all of my printing through the astrocloud. I have used their cloud slicing, their file hosting, and all of their attractive easy interfaces. I can't imagine that any of it has been cheap for them to develop / maintain. They offer a subscription that increases their already generous model storage from 2gig to something higher (can't remember), increases the supported printers from 2 to 10, and adds print queues (which requires that you clear the plate and confirm with your printer that it is fine to proceed, so not much easier than just starting a fresh print.) I would happily pay $5 a month just to use the cloud services, and to hold local access gratis for private use. I'm starting to feel nervous that I can't give a cloud based service that I will come to rely on any of my cash. I can't justify $10 a month for gifts that I won't benefit from. My 2 cents.

  Zachary Hamblen: Have been using this since beta and it only gets better. I love monitoring my printer remotely with the camera on my astrobox. Plus easy slicing built it makes it a breeze, just take a thingiverse file, hit slice, hit print, and done!

  Jesse Michelsen: I switched to Astroprint from octoprint because I liked some of the more refined programs like browser based slicer and thingiverse integration, but upon realizing that Astroprint couldn't stream my camera, I switched back. Then Astroprint released their octopi plugin! Now I can use both which is good. Plus, Astroprint updated their apk to do camera streaming. Unbelievable work squad!

  Nathaniel Davis: It's a good apk but doesn't have all the features that the online cloud does. I can only change the slicing settings online not on the apk. I think you could be able to edit slicer settings within the apk.
