It pauses when I receive a smartphone call or a text and allows the call to proceed or the text to be read to me. Once that's taken care of, the ebook resumes with a 5-second backplay. I couldn't ask for anything more. I drive an hour each method every day.

My dishes were done with joy...laundry folded with glee...vacuuming and dusting a chore no more. Even the cursing during my morning drive to work were replaced with smiles at my fellow commuters, regardless of their speed or ability to remain in their own lanes...I had no problem, there were no glitches, the story was always right were I'd left it. Love it.
