Audio Cues is designed for live performance. With just an Android device smartphone or smartphone, or a Chromebook that supports Google Play, you can make and run easy audio designs for theatre, dance, and another live entertainment. Backing tracks for musicians, sound effects for magicians, playlists for yoga teachers: all are possible with this easy app. Latest modernize • Ver 1.9 lets you make multiple audio cues or delete multiple files from the Manage Files screen, and has a fresh setting to prevent unintentional double taps of the GO button. In-App Purchase: Infinite Shows and Cues Audio Cues permits up to 2 shows on each device and up to 10 cues per present without any payment or registration. Send an email to: [email protected] Features Audio Cues supports three kinds of cues: • Audio cues work with all standard audio file formats, including WAV, OGG and more. • Fade cues can change volume, pan from left to right, or serve as Stop cues • Go to cues allow you loop through groups of audio cues. Audio and Fade cues have these features: • Cue number and title • Master, left and right volume • A trigger (the Go button, or with or after the previous cue) • A delay to run the cue a certain amount of time after the trigger • A shortcut to run the cue from a keyboard or remote control Audio cue features contain: • A target pointing to a particular audio file • A starting point, letting you jump past the begin of an audio file • Number of play times, including help for unlimited loops Fade cue features contain: • A target pointing to a specific audio cue, or to all running cues • A fade duration • Stop the target audio cue(s) Other features contain: • Integration with Google Drive and local storage to transfer audio files to your Android device device • Backup and restore of present designs as text files • Help for Bluetooth remote controls and keyboards to trigger cues during performances Keyboard shortcuts: • Up and down cursor keys to scroll through the cue list • The place bar or Enter to trigger the Go button • Esc or Ctrl+Q to stop all running cues • Configurable keyboard shortcuts for navigation and running cues Audio File Storage The app's audio files are stored in this directory: /AudioCues/shows/[show title] You can import audio files from: • Google Drive • The device's internal storage • An SD card or thumb drive Other methods to copy audio files to the device contain: • With a file manager apk • From a desktop computer connected by USB cable; on macOS 10.7-14, use Android device File Transfer (not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina) • Wirelessly with Bluetooth or apks such as HandShaker and AirDroid We suggest using Audacity, a gratis desktop application, to build audio files. Matthew Keller: Just completed opening night of our play using Audio Cues and it worked good. Pre-show melody, transition melody, and a few sound cues were very simple to setup and work with during tech to receive them where we required. The only thing I would to see would be the ability to have the next cue stay a few cues from the bottom so you can always see what is coming up next instead of the next cue always being at the bottom of the screen.

Brendan Elder: Professional audio guy here. This apk has releived me of having to carry my qlab machine everywhere. Just finshed up Tekko anime convention where track acts and sound effects were abundant. 100% solid. Only note is it would be good if you should import multiple audio files at the same to save time. Overall easier than qlab for fast audio cues and such a joy to use. A large thank you to the developer. Heres hoping you create a lot more shows go a lot smoother. Cheers to you sir or madam.

Peter Magyar: Set up a moderately complicated present, that I have run before using Sound Cue System on a laptop, and it has coped very well. Certainly a good method to run rehearsals when there are no facilities and will possibly become my preferred choice for running shows. Very impressed.

Tyson Baker: I used this unbelievable apk for an indie theatre project in Ogden, UT and it was excellent for our needs. We didn't really have any budget so having this easy but suprisingly strong apk to assist us build our sound cues was invaluable. I don't really have any experience with the industry standard, Q-Lab, so I wouldn't be able to compare, but Audio Cues has my vote. Ran the whole present from my smartphone! Simone Turkington: I'd been struggling with messy playlists for my magic shows in another apks on both the Kindle Fire and a Samsung smartphone. Other wizard recommended this apk and it's been such a mini game changer! The transitions are so much smoother now and I'm able to contain more melody as I can fade tracks out. I'd rather have no melody than abruptly slash it off. Even if you haven't set a fade and just hit stop on a track, it automatically does a 2 second fade which is really nice. I just bought an inexpensive bluetooth remote which works with ver 1.3 so the two combined is giving me what another cue apk and remote combos are charging $300 - $500 for. This suits my needs perfectly!

José Amador: Though it doesn't possess all the bells and whistles of QLab, this is a quality and cost effective alternative to that tool. A easy and primary interface is able to handle a really big number of a sound designers' wishes, assuming they are adept at tools like Audacity or the like. I've used this for designs both really big and little.

TB Scab: Brilliant - does the majority of what QLAB does for audio, have been using it on a touring present for the latest couple of weeks and has been excellent, saves bringing other computer. FEATURE REQUEST - it needs a little feature that QLab has that is very useful for nervous/old/dt-affected fingers - a parameter to prevent retriggers of the GO button - let the player to kind in milliseconds/seconds so the GO button can't be used until that time is up, it's currently too simple to accidently hit it twice quickly and jump cues.

Jeff Freeman: Had to search something at the latest second to run audio for a children's chorus tour and came across this apk. So far, we have used it on 3 shows, including just now at Graceland, and it has worked flawlessly. In addition, i had to pull extra audio in DURING a present and it was so simple. I have it set up on my LG V40 Thin Q and Galaxy Tab and it works the same on both. Chorus has 2 more shows in Nashvillle at the Country Melody HOF and Grand Ole Opry and Audio Cues will run all of it! Thank you!
