  Dan Ivan: The apk works perfectly for me and my marantz sr5011 and the effect is unbelievable; it calibrates my system various in comparison with receiver and sound became very crisp and clear; I have only tweak the volume of the subwoofer and changed the crossover from marantz menu; I cannot trust that the results are so various in sound quality; The apk is stable as I did'n encountered any problems during the calibration setup or further modifications;

  Julius Nguyen: To everyone who has problems with the apk disconnecting from the AVR when transferring the data from the AVR, test this: Use the Ethernet instead of WiFi to connect the AVR to the network. When I went this route the apk and AVR worked flawlessly. Something is either wrong with the AVR (Denon needs to modernize the firmware) or the apk just doesn't like the WiFi connection with the AVR. Hope this helps others and maybe the developers figure out a fix.

  olivia s: after running audessey variety of times and playing with the settings my avr never sounded quite right. this apk corrected my speakers, and brought my reference curve to life. love it and definetly suggest this to anyone with a modern denon avr. my crossovers were reading method low on my side surrounds before this set things straight.

  Aco: Worked perfectly on my Denon x4300 and Galaxy S8. Just want you should change the crossover in the apk too and create 2 curves one for films and one for melody then change that with the remote quickly. Hope that they will add that in the next modernize.

  Alex Handsaker: If you're having problems, read this review: When I initially installed the apk, I had a few problems as described by others with the apk freezing or crashing mid measurement. As it turns out, the network connection to my receiver was awful. The moment I wired it and moved the wireless into the same room, I never had an problem - Even with 11 speakers plus subbing to calibrate, and I've redone it time after time. The reason for the crashing is simply connection being lost for either the receiver or the mobile device. Remove this problem and you'll never struggle. The awesome bits: This apk is everything that you wish from a calibration service. Data, flexibility and ease of use. I search that taking measurements is loads easier with the apk - As long as my mobile has a powerful WiFi connection I can begin calibration out of the room, only going back in to reposition the mic. Once measured, altering curves is a piece of cake, and reuploading the results is just as simple, just a few button taps. I was initially nervous dropping £20 on the apk given the reviews, however it's one of the best things that I've spent cash on in the theatre - absolutely suggested.

  Jason Gress: It's a awesome begin, but has major flaws as of 1.0. First, the apk crashes if the smartphone goes to sleep at any point when the apk is begin. Oops! But far mire egregious is that there is no flat high frequency target curve. What? Why don't they think people wish this? Did I spend thousands on this AVP and fancy AMT tweeters only to roll them off? Receive with the tool here guys... Edit: it turns out that you can still access the flat curve, so it's not a total loss there, so I went from 3 to 4 stars. I still wish to be able to model or at least check the results there. Otherwise it's a very nice first attempt. I look forward to the coming improvements!

  fred lai: Hi Audyssey help squad, I would like to report a bug on the apk for crossovers setting. I'm using the marantz SR7011. I love the apk and what it can do BUT, audyssey needs to fix this bug. When I run Audyssey from the AVR, it gives 150hz xover on my surrounds and overhead speakers. Always. But when I use the apk to run Audyssey, it give me 250hz xover. Re-ran it using the apk and it's the same. A lot of of my mates have this xover trouble too when they use the apk to run Audyssey calibration. Can audyssey fix this pls? Is this a known bug? And how do I temp overcome it, can I amend the curves to do this? Because I understand from audyssey that I could not change the xover to a frequency value that is lower than what audyssey calibration sets. Thanks, Audyssey fanatic

  Brad Hull: Once I completed the measurements, the apped worked well and is good. It crashed/froze twice during measurements though and is much slower than Audyssey through the receiver since it has to download data between every measurement you have to wait for. Note 4 and 4300h.

  Chad Kosie: I had high hopes for this apk, especially with it priced at a whopping $20. I updated my receiver to the recent firmware and started calibrating my speakers through the apk. During the third listening position, I was told that my receiver lost connection and I had to end the process. I don't know if it's worth attempting once more, but so far this apk has been a heavy disappoint. EDIT: Ran it once more and it seemed to work. I'm satisfied it worked so I'm bumping this up from a 1 star to a 3. The apk leaves a lot to be desired for $20.

  Jason Woodward: I would love to give this a higher review but the fact that it isnt as awesome as the built in systems eq. The subwoofer eq was method off of being flat when theres a large room peak in the response it reduced it but its still 10 db higher than it could be and if i use the eq on the subs to reduce it and run the apk once more its just ok and i have a flat response down to 13 hz.

Installed it on a Huawei Friend 9 on which the apk runs, but often crashes and won't present 'yes' and 'no' buttons, making it impossible to upload settings to the receiver.

  Md Elhaj: Crossover trouble, its method too high compared to old audyssey and to what my speakers are capable of. not so good job at ironing peaks around 32HZ and there is rolloff belw 20Hz compared to old audyssey. and no access to the flat curve. come on audyssey please fix this , because this can be a good apk.

  Scott Orlowe: The Apk. always crashes halfway through the set up. Even after reloading a few times and resetting my fresh "Asus Zen", smartphone. Even worse, Once the Apk. crashes, ALL must be done once more from scratch! This is the only Apk. I've ever had such issues with. I had high hopes for this Apk. It's useless and STILL $20 dollars! I thought Marantz and Denon product's were better than this. Well, they "used" to be better than this! Thanks for a lot of hype and frustration! And thats ALL that this Apk. Is awesome for.   Jason Aylsworth: Do not buy this garbage. Doesn't work and the developers ignore emails. When paired with my Denon 6300H, the apk crashes every time during speaker calibrations. Due to developers ignoring my multiple requests for a refund, I have contacted my credit card provider for fraud. Stay away from this garbage! Would be zero stars but it won't allow me.

  Scott Roulston: Apk is awful. Crashes on both my 6p and Nexus 7 (2013). Can't receive past mic position 4 before the apk becomes unresponsive. I've closed all background running apks and increased screen on time. Still nothing. Want I had time to test the apk yesterday when I was in the refund window.
