  Mark Evans: I have been using Aurora Alert for well over a year now and have found it to work almost perfectly, assuming, of course, that you have a connection. It begins alerting you when there are auroras possible, low on the northern horizon (Aurora Borealis, obviously). If there is an auroral storm you keep a various sounding alert. I haven't seen any auroras using this apk, but I have missed a couple through ignoring the alerts it gave me.

  Jonathan Estok: Nice apk. I know CT is not a good put to see an Aurora but it's possible and this apk is well done. My only problem is on the Nexus 7 2013 the map section with the line is not sized like the rest of the charts you can scroll through on that screen. In the image above it is so it must be a bug with the larger screen. Love how it can check cloud cover too. Would like some another photos added, not just the one that needs fixing but a full color top down shot of the line; overall it's the best Aurora apk on the shop.

  Lauren Michelle: Best of the aurora apks out there! I've downloaded all of the aurora apks and have found this one to be the most comprehensive, easy-to-use apk of them all. I love that it tells me my exact Kp number based on my GPS place (which makes it extremely useful when traveling), as well as gives an easy-to-understand aurora forecast. The ability to customize the alerts is unbelievable - no more getting excited over an alert when it's completely cloudy out. Love it!

  Matthew Bell: This is hands-down the best Aurora apk on the shop, period (Android device and iPhone). The data is accurate and reliable and when the notification settings are done appropriately, you know when to head outside and look north. The only gripe I have is that the map showing the current Aurora extent isn't really big enough on larger smartphone screens. Knowing the apk is regularly updated, I'm confident it will be fixed.

  J Mickley: Initial signs are very awesome for this website Well, I have only just installed this, but ironically I am quite satisfied with it so far. Had an alert from other website that doesn't take cloud cover into consideration. I live in the the NE of Scotland so cloud cover is a beautiful necessary factor! Been a nice sunny day so got all excited when I got the another alert. Rushed out into the garden, but it is raining and there is 100% cloud cover! This website however, gave me no such alert, even though the kp index is beautiful high! I'm no expert, so I really hope I have set all the settings correctly...have wanted to see the Aurora all my life!

  Lacey Gribbin: The best apk! The best apk I've found! Often the latest conditions page where the wind speeds, directions, etc is listed "unavailable". I realize they rely on NOAA for that info though, so you can't really blame the apk for that. Otherwise it's almost excellent!

The only feature I'm still wishing for is a kp-index widget for the homescreen....

  Tom O'Reilly: Awesome details, obscure UI The most necessary feature to me would be the auroral map, but it took me about 30 mins to figure out how to access it; you need to slide the display window in the "Conditions" tab with your finger. Better UI (some type of visual cue for sliding the display window?) or documentation would be awesome.
