I researched and demoed others before buying and none had the combination of features and functionality of BC Nav. Since then it's only gotten better. Mark Grenier: The "RightThing" I've been using this apk for hunting in the backcountry in very hilly place with deep ravines.I used this apk to search a waypoint deep in the middle of the large woods. when I found that my cursor was right over the pin( place there 6 weeks ago, I looked up and there was a tree that I had marked and I was deep in the backcountry., the reason I purchased the apk is because if the demo ver was that accurate , then I'm going to do the" right thing".thx all!!

Staff Lead: With Samsung Note 3 I backpacked into 4th Recess lake in Eastern Sierras. Apk worked good and prevented me from taking the wrong trail & direction a few times and helped me navigate to anywhere I wanted with confidence. Then shut off device conserving power when not required. Heading the wrong direction can have harsh results especially when I went off trail only 30 feet on a long hard climb out (65# package, 3,500ft elev gain) latest day but I checked my tracks (I left electronic GPS markers or tracks every 5-10 seconds during the hike in) and saw I had taken the wrong trail. I just created sure ALL unnecessary smartphone functions were OFF during the 4 day trip to save power and I monitored my power so I did NOT run out before being certain I was "home gratis"!

The Antisocial pessimist: Amazing/shouldn't have awful reviews Don't know why this has any awful reviews - been using it for nearly a year and I still receive all the highly detailed maps that I need - I know there are lots of advertisements but come on people it's a gratis apk deal with it unless u buy the pro ver how do you expect the company to create cash - good apk developers I will be buying the pro ver in the future as a donation not to receive rid of the advertisements 😁
