  Dennis Thompson: Have been using this for over a year. Saves me quite a lot of time. Paid for itself the first rail I worked with it on. I use it for another things too: wainscoting, shelves, t&g. Anything you need to figure even spacing on really. Never had a trouble. Remember you can change the slider values for a wider dozens of apks. Have actually convinced a few others to purchase this as well.

  Ryan Stohl: Good apk! had it on my iphone and had the option for "speak" so it spoke the dimensions which was nice. switched to android device and don't see that option now. is there a setting I'm missing?

  Travis Oram: Good concept. Almost worth the price. It should use a couple inprovemts like: Longer spans with multiple posts. Also as a metal stair and railing fabricator I often search that my stair angles are around 32° we also can build in 1/2° increments and still keeps rise and run tolerances. Maybe add degrees from 25 to 40 although steep it might me handy in another things as well

  Doug Greenhaw: Only 3 stars because my staircase is built at 32 degrees and this apk won't allow you calculate anything less than 35 degrees minimum. It got me in the ballpark but had to figure it out on my own in the end. I did not build the stairs! Just trying to add the railings.

  A Google user: Apk limited to max <45* pitch/ stair angle. Probably a good apk for fresh builds conforming to current building reg's, but useless for older property renovation. Bought the apk in readyness for an old staircase refurb' but search its pitch is 48* and out of the app's calculating range. Back to the old pencil & paper I guess, but was so looking forward to an easier job!
