About the application:

Batting Statistics is designed to let you to track the batting stats of an infinite number of squads and users for a mini game, a season, or a career.Batting actions such as singles, doubles, strikeouts, ground outs, etc. can be defined in the action editor and each action can be individually configured for reporting. Default actions are provided during the initial installation . Extra player defined actions can be added if the default actions do not provide enough detail for your tracking purposes. Default actions can also be deleted or deactivated if you do not want to use them.Once squads and users are made you can make individual mini games to track the actions of each batter. As each batter appears at the plate you can choose them from the user list and record the individual's at bat performance including any runs batted in (RBI) during their plate appearance. During the mini game you can also view the mini game history including color coded entries to represent outs and hits. As each batter is chosen, the individual's in mini game batting average, hits, at bats, and RBIs are displayed.In the 1.3 release you can now reorder users and import users from one squad into other. This can be very helpful when creating choose squads that are comprised of users from existing teams.Once data has been collected for one or more mini games, reports can be generated. The reports contain a user summary report, user detail report, and a squad summary report. The summary reports contain a batting average, on base percentage, hits, at bats, slugging percentage, and another extra columns that have been defined in the action list. Reports can contain individual mini games or multiple mini games for each squad. After a report is generated it can then be e-mailed. The e-mail contains an html copy of the report and a comma separated value (CSV) file including the report data that can loaded into a spreadsheet for further manipulation.The application will be continually improved based on player feedback which can be submitted using the feedback button in the main menu.
