War of Guadalcanal is a turn based tactic mini game set on and around the island of Guadalcanal in the Pacific theater during the Second Globe Fight. You are in command of the first major American amphibious offensive in the Second Globe Fight, aimed at seizing the island of Guadalcanal on which Japanese are building an airfield. You must use your naval forces to safe the constant flow of reinforcements and supplies to army on Guadalcanal, while trying to prevent Japanese from doing the same. Jurjen Smies: Other perfect addition to the Conflict Series. Logistics plays a major role in this battalion-level simulation, in more methods than one. Be prepared for a very hard slog, even on Simple, and hold an eye on your supplies: running out is a bigger threat to your army than the Japanese.

A Google user: The true challenge in this one isn't the combat. It's keeping your troops supplied so it can war. The naval mini game is good, trying to hold your destroyers fueled and in a fighting position takes a lot of skill. Plus the fact that the fuel tankers themselves require fuel makes it even more challenging.

Darryl Harper: Much more playable with changes to add more supply troops. In early ver Japanese would victory even the very simple level due to US troops being starved of sufficient supplies.
