Downloaded it on my S9+, on my home wireless connection, and I am able to cast and control Doctor who to my TV no trouble. I can pause, rewind, etc. I even back in and out of the apk while it's playing on my TV.

  BRAIN GRIPPEN: The casting will happen when they control all the content. When your under licensed agreements it limits how you can move. As the agreements run out they are able to negotiate better terms meaning where when and how they can put BBC content. Technology is getting better for companies like this. I salute them.
