Be My Eyes is all about contributing and benefiting from little acts of kindness, so hop on board and receive involved! Blind or visually impaired players can request assist from a sighted volunteer, who will be notified on their smartphone. As soon as the first sighted player accepts the request for assist, a live audio-video connection will be set up between the two parts. The sighted helper can now help the blind or visually impaired, through the video connection from the blind or visually impaired user’s rear-facing camera. As a sighted player, you are part of the large Be My Eyes volunteer-network, so don’t worry about leaving a blind person hanging, if you are not able to reply a request. We will simply forward the request and search the next accessible volunteer. The blind or visually impaired person can need assist with anything from knowing the expiry date on the milk, to making sure that their clothes match. Note: We encourage blind or visually impaired players to be patient, when making a request, because we rely on true people to assist you. Carly's Canines & Co: I have had this apk less than a week and already received my first call today! It was so lovely to assist someone so easily and we even had a unbelievable brief conversation. It was so easy to use And worked perfectly although it was a shaky connection for the first 20 seconds.The only recommendations i have would be the ability to send text to audio messages to apologize for a dropped call,or to say thank you. If security is a concern it can be done anonymously to the latest person you were connected with. It may also be useful to be able to tag your favorite helpers could you have particularly successful communication with them.Thank You For creating this app.This is exactly what we could be advancing technology for.
