  Jami Miller: Just got our devices. Love it so far. It works. Will see how we like it when it gets place to the try. --> Inspected this in our place. No connection greater than 1 mile. My husband predicted this due to the valley we're in and another buildings and things that can interfere. Will try in another environments such as Six Flags Good Escape (No Project Fi Cell Service). Beartooth devices will be awesome for battery banks.

  Voice and text off grid works good. The down loaded maps are really cool. One problem with the map is you have to down load the road style and whatever map you wish. With out the road it will not work once you are off grid. You can use a very really big scale on the road map, like a whole state. But over all the off grid functionality is good.

  Devin Spitze: Wow this apk is soooooo good... Should not receive maps to work even after downloading them in an off mountain place with service. Using GPS currently only shows where your dot is compared to the another unit... Zero scale for distance, just a blackish screen with my Dot and the another troops Beartooth symbol. Was satisfied voice works with the screen turned off. I'll probably have the CEO email me once more (took down my latest review) and ball me out for my honest review as I think he was upset I was upset this thing doesn't do what was promised and is over half a year late to shop... TL;DR Attentive writing reviews, the CEO looked me up on the internet and emailed info he had found out about my private life. Oh and awesome or maps do not work. DO NOT RELY ON THIS DEVICE ON THE TRAIL. Mesh networking sounds good but how about maps?

  Andrew Edtl: I've really wanted this device and apk to work well, and even deleted an older review hoping some of the problems would be resolved. However, neither work well. For the apk, offline maps simply don't work. You can download places, but the apk won't load them while offline. The devices work well enough, but will disconnect if left idling too long, even if except from power monitoring. There's also still no help for mesh networking, which was a large part of the initial advertising. This still doesn't take into acc the app's difficult to use UI. As a project coming out of someone's hobby, they did a good job. But for a commercially accessible product, they're still to far out from being ready.
