  KaTyFrva: So far it works. Don't really need it for anything much but to be able to turn the heat and pump on and off if required. I like that you can control the bubbles as well, as it helps me with the children or when I need the water to circulate something.

  Tim Oliver: TOP TIP - before plugging into the SPA, powerup the pump next to your 2.4mhz WIFI router first to complete setup, then move it back to we're your using it. The pump is really really really fussy about this so believe me, even if you think it could be ok it must be MEGA STRONG WiFi signal for setup only, seems fine after that when using it. STEP 1) power on pump, 2) press keep WiFi button until you hear beep, begin BESTWAY apk and follow instructions

  t n: Right. This apk is the one to receive rather than the Layzspa apk. Much better to use. It shows the home wireless connection ssid on set up. Layzspa apk doesnt. This apk worked 1st time. I have a bt hub 2 980mb full fibre set up. You must go in to the routers webpage and disable 5ghz 1st. ( you can re-enable 5ghz after as the smart router will hold the pool allocated to the 2.4ghz and simply reconnect everything in the house according to it capabilites ( pool pump 2.4ghz . Xbox . Lap top .pc etc 5ghz ).

  All Atsea: Got it to work on Android device. If you're having problem test this: 1. Turn off 'auto reconnect' on all WiFi networks on your device. 2. From device settings connect to the 'bestway' WiFi. 3. When prompted choose 'connect to this network all the time' 4. Run through the set up magician on the apk.

  Martin Drury: The recent modernize (March 2021) seems a retrograde step. Lay Z Spa control function has been changed cosmetically for the worst and I dont think it shows that the heater is working or not. Previous ver showed red or green.No modernize to the timer function either

  Glynis Merris: It is a back step for the fresh apk, used to be able to tell when the heater was functioning as it lit up red now shows as heat is on all time and no change in colour so without going to spa you don't know if the heater has turned on.

  Jack Hayes: Had the spa now for about a year. Everything is work, except the WiFi control. I had it working just search all this time. then it stop working. It forced me to do an modernize on the tool, and now it does not work. The tool can search the product as instructed in manual, or it can search my WiFi network, it keeps telling me that it FAILED. Now I need to manually choose function from the keypad on the pump. Also, the Air Bubble button will not work unless I turn off the system, wait for pump to stop, turn on controller, and choose Heater, Filter then Bubbles.. This system DOES NOT have a timer function. you can NOT set a timer to turn on and off the system for more then a day. I dont think set up of a timer each day is practical. The Spa itself is very well created and no another problems after one year.

  Leo Maxwell: Use this instead of the LAYZSPA apk, which is useless. Would be nice to be able to set repeat timers or better still, scheduling. It is not simple to connect on Android device, as the OS keeps disconnecting and hiding any wireless connection network without an internet connection. Took a few tries latest time.

  Ben Blackmore: As others have said, the recent modernize seems a step backwards with regard to the heater experience. My largest gripe is the schedule function. You'd expect to be able to set a schedule daily, i.e. turn on heater 11am-4pm (useful if you have solar panels and wish to save cash). But that's not how the schedule function in the apk works. You can only say: in X hours, run for X hours. Type of pointless!

  Lloyd Lester: I tried to use the Lay z Spa apk which is useless and simply dosnt work. This apk works but its awful considering the additional £100 the pump cost. As a minimum I would expect a everyday timer function so I should customize settings for all 7 days of the week rather than having to manually access the apk on a everyday basis.

  Dennis Verhaaff: By making it smart they've created it dumb. I'm using it for the pool pump but it only has the same functions as the buttons on the pump (power and timer). It would have been nice (and actually smart) if it had options to turn on automatically every day and set the timer based on outside temperature. Because it doesn't run when applying power I can't use a timer outlet for this and have to remember to turn it on every day. Dumb, but at least I don't have to go outside into the rain to run the pump

  Sas Hammond: Inconsistent! Worked mostly for a year but has now completely stopped communicating with the pump! Doesn't even see the pumps wireless connection signal. Neither Layzspa nor Bestway wish to offer any true help another than repeating install details. I work in IT, and it ain't working! Sort your app/server and WiFi hardware out as 1 or all are failing!!!!
