About the application:

Better Mining Better Globe 2022, this year's Teck's sustainability symposium, will take put October 18-20 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver in Vancouver, B.C. and bring together over 450 individuals from across our company who influence and drive improved sustainability performance and assist bring our Sustainability Tactic to life. This year's symposium agenda will provide attendees with a range of perspectives and insights from across Teck as well as global perspectives from guest speakers external to our company. Agenda themes contain: - Connecting global trends and expectations to Teck's Sustainability Tactic - Bringing our Sustainability Tactic to life - Understanding the investment community's focus on ESG performance and what this means for Teck - Global trends and the future of mining - Sustainability-related successes, risks and opportunities for Teck Importantly, symposium attendees will also have a lot of opportunities to renew and make connections with colleagues, informally discuss shared experiences, and learn firsthand where we are achieving success and how we are addressing the challenges we face. Together, the symposium agenda and the connections made will assist us continue to responsibly mine the metals and materials essential for the modern globe, help the global transition to a low-carbon economy, and care for the people, communities and land that we love.
