I would like to share my review. ❤️ In general, Biostrap - good product 🔥 with a lot actionable data and rapid help. ⭐ My favorite features are "Comprehensive Pulse Report", it let me to measure how various daytime actions (nap, massage, caffeine, sauna...) affects biometrics as well as "Insights" - let me to benchmark myself to my demographic cohort by biometrics for future optimization. I suggest to join the official Fb group "Biostrap Players", there are a lot of useful content there.

  Kam Zardouzian: I'm a Fitbit convert to Android device wear to Biostrap. I'm also a 50+ year old Jiu Jitsu practitioner (purple belt currently), surf & standup surfer, &Yoga practitioner. Recovery is as necessary to me as activity & I derive valuable insight from Biostrap to map out my weekly & everyday activities based on the info provided, which I search enormously valuable. Biostrap's product and apk are not for everybody. It requires maintenance and management to hold the unit charged, synced, & dive into the info to learn what it all means. If you're looking for a wear it & forget it unit, Biostrap is not for you. However, I admire the company's continuous work to improve both the accuracy & useability of the collected data. I work as a data scientist & search the info provided by Biostrap in aggregate form to be accurate enough to give me the info I need to create adjustments in my everyday activities (including the need for recovery). Those who compare troops versus each another to try for accuracy. This is like stepping on various brands of scales. Each one will give you slightly various measurements. It's necessary to use the same scale each time!

  A Google user: Connection quality is extremely awful. The fundamental of this apk is connection to the device which it fails miserably. I've tried Samsung S7, Essential smartphone and an LG smartphone - still with the same problem. I've messaged help and received a fast response and willingness to address the problem. In fact an modernize was pushed right after I expressed the same connection concern earlier this week, but the problems still persist. There seems to be less bugs with the iPad apk. I hope the Android device ver achieve the same success. EDIT: Over the past 3 days, the apk works as intended. The modernize along seems to have helped. Unfortunately, I have only been able to receive the apk to sync with the Biostrap when place is on. I elevated it from 2 stars to 4 stars.

  Beth Genung: The biometrics are good, except the workout, but the apk should use some more options. So far it has been a drag on my phone's battery, and syncing takes at least 20 mins. It would be nice to decide when I wish to sync, rather then when I stop recording a workout or sleep. Today it synced my workout the entire method home from the gym, at the expense of my ability to listen to Bluetooth melody. And once I left the sync screen, I should not receive back to it. It also seems to wish a regular internet connection, which is a trouble because I spend half my day with sketchy internet.

  Jeremy Hartwell: Awesome hardware for HRV, but the apk absurdly slow and buggy and the exercise tracking is inconsistent to the point of being useless. Read on for info. I love the idea of the biostrap. And from what I can tell, the HRV is at least directionally accurate. Its good how much lower it goes after a grueling HIIT workout with massive weights and interesting to see it recover, all aligned with clinical studies of HRV impact from exercise. I can also say that the sleep statistics seem to be decently accurate, but once more I rely more on HRV even here. If I felt like I didn't sleep well and that I'm not really up for a tough workout, the HRV is always on point. Honestly very cool metric. I'm not as sure about the accuracy of the another measures, but I have no reason to trust they're any less accurate. Having said that, the apk is quite simply terrible. The dashboards are nice, but that's about it. It constantly crashes, freezes and blanks on all data (even history) for 10 to 15 mins at a time before mysteriously showing it once more. The exercise tracker is also a joke. It's useless because it's so inconsistent and innaccurate and properly recording the exercise and the reps. Don't even bother buying the shoe pod, it's a waste of cash. The most infuriating thing though is how slow the syncing process is. Wanna know how well you slept? Wait 10 to 30 mins for it to display after you wake up. Actually trying to record an exercise? Well once you finish, it should take 15 mins for it to sync (during which you can't do ANYTHING ELSE) and an hour or more to actually present up on your activity screen. Are you kidding me? Biostrap, you really need to fix these issues. If you wish to use HRV as a metric to gauge your overall health along with your body's ability to handle stress at any given moment, then it's a good program if you're willing to place up with the apk bugs. But if you don't care about HRV... Don't even consider biostrap.

  Wellington Amaral: Good tracking, except I'm VERY disappointed that they took a gratis feature and created it a subscription: the meditation tracking, whereas before it was gratis to track for however long you wanted to meditate, now it's capped at 30 mins. You have to buy a subscription to track for longer than 30 mins. I understand adding additional features within a subscription, but I'm disappointed when gratis features are taken away into a subscription fee.

Loses days, or wont measure various metrics one day and then the next will measure those metrics but not the others. Very frustrating, honestly feel like this was the largest waste of cash.
