The eGuide to Birds of the Middle East is an interactive companion to the Birds of the Middle East field tutorial – the comprehensive tutorial for birdwatchers visiting the region. It covers Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, the Arabian peninsula and Socotra. This application has specific features that will enhance your birding experience. NB: Please note that an extra download of 164MB is needed once this apk has been installed. Please ensure you use a WiFi connection to prevent extra data costs. FEATURES: - Hi-res photos, distribution maps and detailed text descriptions of over 800 bird species including breeding species and regular visitors. These photos can be expanded to fill the entire width of the screen in portrait and landscape. - Audible calls for more than 400 bird species - "Bird Compare" that allows you to compare two birds on the same screen. - A private bird list that stores your bird sightings saved to the device that can then be exported to your storage card and through email. - View the Bird Index by Common or Scientific bird names either alphabetically or taxonomically. * Uninstalling the tool will effect in the loss of your list, it is suggested that you hold your own master list separate from the tool.
