Ensure you setup Blue Iris at home and try it from your Android device tablet/phone to check all the functions you are going to use in this Ap. Port forwarding in Blue Iris must be setup correctly on your home computer for this Ap to be able to log into it. Other awesome thing about this Ap is it is upgraded quite a bit.   bryan c: Good Note 4. I have never had an problem with this apk. Loads videos super quick over 4g does exactly wish I need. Even the widget works good. Maybe the widget should push the alert photo to the smartphone if it doesn't already.

  Ed Maldonado: Works just like it could on Nexus 6 I have 6 Dlink Cloud cams and prefer this over the dlink apk by far. I have everything configured with blue iris running on my little HTPC and it's excellent. No apk crashes like everyone is talking about. I'm running an unlocked rooted nexus 6 vanillapop Rom android device 5.1.

  Richard Flathmann: So far, so good! After testing a few desktop apks, including iSpy (which was a nightmare in some aspects) and a much more expensive option, I chose Blue Iris. I bought the desktop apk today and then the Android device apk. For $70 you can't do better IMO. I record to my Google Drive and every clip is uploaded to my FTP server. I have 5 IP cameras of mixed brands and capabilities, 2 Android device phones as cameras and BI has been rock solid over the latest 10 days. Could this change I will modernize my review and rating.

  Joe Mann: Apk works for good! Developer has constant updates and fixes that create it even better. Sometimes something beaks so all you need to do is email and a fix will be our in a couple days. Really quick turnaround considering the price you pay for help is basically zero. There's an option to pay extra which puts you in front of everyone else. See the IPCamTalk forum for more info. There are sections dedicated to Blue Iris.

  Jason Bea: Finally! A useful apk to view my cameras remotely I've been using TinyCam Pro, which does work, but very slowly, and limited. This apk gives me everything I need to view and control my cameras remotely, including pausing my cameras so that I do not receive false alarms when I am outside. I like the fact that it interacts with the BlueIris tool directly, which doesn't slow the frame rate down that I have noticed. I am also now able to move my PTZ cameras without getting motion alerts. Very satisfied with this tool. I do feel the price is a tiny steep, but I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this tool, and I guess you receive what you pay for. It is very well designed and implemented.

  Jim Robinson: Blue Iris is perhaps the best IP camera application on the shop. I first installed the server application on my home PC running Windows 10, to which 3 indoor cameras and 2 outdoor are linked. The next step involves setting your WAN connection to forward Port 81 to the server PC, installing the client application on your smartphone or smart smartphone, and setting it up to connect to your server's public IP address. I was unable to successfully forward 81 to a dynamically installed public IP address but resolved the trouble by asking my WISP to give me a fixed IP address. Once that is done the Blue Iris clients (both Android device and Apple I/OS) connect and work perfectly as long as your home server is up and connected to the Internet.

  Troy James Lattouf: Best cam monitor apk by far. Pls more widget options! This was the excellent solution as I already have a 24/7 HTPC serving WMC / Plex / NAS. I set the Fresh & alerts to my google drive for cloud backup. Combine this apk with x4 hikvision PoE cams works sweet. Love the fact it only records what you need to see. Saves my HDD life as fresh goes to SSD and storage/archive is on the HDD drive pool so disks remain spun down. love the instant mobile notification and the cam widgets are awesome. Would like 2 c more details on cam widget. Like # Alerts. Start/stop BI etc...

  Jim Frazier: The PC ver of this apk is a highly configurable and solid piece of tool, but I required an apk that would allow me control my multiple cameras remotely from my Nexus 6 smartphone. Since this apk was written to work with the PC ver, it's exactly what I required. A tiny pricey, but I don't mind paying for a awesome solid apk that does what I wish it to do.
