Armis discovered BlueBorne, a fresh attack vector, endangering major mobile, desktop, and IoT operating systems, including Android device, iOS, Windows, and Linux, and the devices using them. It contains 8 zero-day vulnerabilities, 4 of them critical. With BlueBorne, a hacker can take over your device or set up a man-in-the-middle attack. It leverages the most serious exploit in Bluetooth to date, and spreads through the air (airborne). You don’t need to pair with the attacking device. You Bluetooth just needs to be on. Key points about BlueBorne: - Penetrates safe "air-gapped" networks - Spreads laterally to adjacent devices - Impacts devices from Samsung, Google, Windows, Apple and more - Microsoft, Android device, Linux, and iOS are issuing updates This apk was specifically designed to scan your device and see if it is vulnerable. It can also scan and locate devices that should be vulnerable to the BlueBorne attack vector. Simply use the screen of your mobile device as a viewfinder to scan your device or locate connected devices in your environment. More than 5 billion devices should be vulnerable to “BlueBorne” attacks, but patches exist for Apple, Android device and Windows devices. Be sure that your patches are up to date. Sanat Sathaye: Excuse some of the morons who seem to have come from Technical Guru's YouTube video. This apk will tell you if your device can be affected by the BlueBorne attack. It is a SECURITY problem. You will NOT be unaffected just because you have never used Bluetooth before! It has to be patched by your phone's OEM.

A lot of people are saying that this is a fake scanner, I guess they are confusing it with traditional antivirus scanners for android device, read the info of the apk, it's for Bluetooth vulnerability testing and only apk in the shop right now to check for those vulnerabilities.

Shaun Clarke: My two devices are vulnerable, but present as low risk when scanned remotely. Seems inconsistent. Modernize: Fixed with latest modernize :). I also found remote devices had to be discoverable to be inspected remotely, even if they were already paired.

L Y: I'm supporting the developer because there's too a lot of "accusations". "Vulnerable" is not equal to "Infected". This checks your device for "Vulnerability" only. Beautiful related to checking device(s) for Heartbleed and/or Fake ID vulnerability. Furthermore, why are you even using this apk if you are not aware of its intended purpose? And why are you using this apk if you are very certain that your device is not vulnerable(vulnerable=infected to some people)? Man... There are those who need the dictionary apk instead of this...
