This tool opens a VPN connection through the bluetooth or USB channel and allows to navigate the internet without a WiFi or a built-in 3G module. It requires one of: - Android device smartphone/tablet with BlueDUN installed and running - GPRS smartphone with Dial-Up Networking (DUN) help - USB Stick with 3G or PSTN Modem NO ROOTING NEEDED!! This apk is compatible with Android device 4.0 , 4.1 , 4.2 , 4.3 and 5.0. It doesn't work with Kit Kat versions (4.4.*) due to a VPN problem. PLEASE DON'T WRITE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS VERSIONS! This apk works ONLY IF your device can manage VPN connections, in particular if the TUN.KO module is show. This module strictly depends on the hardware and must be compiled specifically for it. Some manufacturers prepare the firmware without re-compile that module or they even remove the file, so, it is not possible to begin a VPN and not possible to use apks for the VPN (like OpenVPN or DroidVPN); please take a look to this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aed.tun.installer INSTALLATION: 1. Make the BT pairing between this client device (with BlueVPN+ installed) and the host device or simply connect the USB stick 2. In case of direct modem connection (no Android device phones) or USB modem, insert in the setting panel the dial smartphone number, the access point and the another connection parameters 4. Some 3G stick modems require the "Modem compatibility" option enabled Normal use: 1. Activate the DUN service / begin the BlueDUN apk on host device or plug the modem USB stick 2. Begin the BlueVPN+ apk on client, click the BT host name or the USB device name in the list [ First time you begin the connection, you need to confirm the safety alert for VPN and USB interfaces (x2)] 3. A Google User: Just what I required This apk lets me tether my HP Slate 8 Pro smartphone through my Nokia N9 smartphone over Bluetooth. Android device apks that worked for me over this sort of connection contain Firefox, Terminal IDE (for ssh), PagerDuty, and the stock Email client. Unfortunately, HipChat and corporate mail (Exchange) do not see the connection, so while that's disappointing, it's not BlueVPN's fault. I'll take what I can receive, and work around what I can't. This apk is well worth the asking price if you need this sort of functionality.

A Google User: Exactly what I was looking for Having purchased an android device smartphone, I wrongly assumed that it would pick up the WiFi signal from my Nokia N8's apk, like my laptop can. Then I found this apk, it is unbelievable! A Google User: Works good with my Nexus 7 running Android device 4.2 and Nokia Symbian smartphone over bluetooth. Interface is a tiny clunky, but does the job. Frustrating that Android device doesn't help using the DUN of paired devices, but this is a good workaround.

A Google User: Added 3g internet to my nexus 7 without rooting I had an old USB 3g modem laying around collecting dust. I bought an OTG cable and tried to connect the modem to my nexus 7. Didn't work. After some Google searching, everybody said you MUST root your nexus to receive a connection. Then I found Bluevpn+. I rarely pay for an apk, but adding mobile internet to my Wi-Fi only smartphone would be a large benefit. At first I couldn't create the apk work, so I contacted Mirko, the developer. He was very helpful and fast to answer. He offered to refund if we couldn't receive it working. The problem was the setup of a proprietary modem I am using in Russia. He got it working and I am satisfied. Now I can browse the web and do email wherever I go out where there is no Wi-Fi. It works for me on a nexus 7 smartphone with OTG cable and a ZTE MF112 USB 3g modem from MTS Telecom in Russia. I am using it in Russia. I am not able to download apks from Google play through this connection, and not able to use the Speedtest apk with this connection. It's still worth 5 stars to me!

A Google User: Unbelievable I have an old nokia C7-00 with infinite internet and a LG GTab 8.3 v500 w/o sim. I have been using the nokia as a mobile hotspot when travelling for all my devices, except for the android device ones, which do not suport JoikuSpot ad-hoc wireless connection connection. This tool allows me to use the Nokia as a modem and tether via USB the internet. Works like a charm. Inspected it with the GPad running Android device 4.4.2 and with Nexus5 on 6.0.1. Perfect!

A Google User: Used to work. I used to use this with my razr v3xx. Latest modernize broke that. Would be a awesome apk if this was fixed. I cannot modernize this device past 4.2.1. Hisense does not help their products. The apk was working ok, nothing changed on my end. Then the apk was updated, and broke functionality. Been trying to receive a previous ver from the developer. No luck so far.
