The Boston’s Safest Driver Tournament allows participants to challenge their mates, see how they rank in their community, and victory prizes for improvement every two weeks in the 12-week contest. each week. The tournament is brought to you by the Town of Boston, Mayor Martin J. Walsh, The Mayor’s Office of Fresh Urban Mechanics and Vision Zero Task Force, in partnership with Cambridge Mobile Telematics and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. For more info, please visit https://www.boston.gov/safestdriver Boston's Safest Driver automatically detects when driving starts and stops, and uses the phone’s sensors to measure driving quality including acceleration, braking, cornering, speeding and smartphone distraction. The application logs your driving trips, displays mapped routes of your drives and displays info on maneuvers giving you useful feedback to assist you become a better driver. In addition, it provides driving advices and allows you to invite mates to your leaderboard to compete for top rankings. The tournament is for legal residents of The Town of Boston and the 101 cities and towns that create up the Metro Boston place and who are at least 18 years of age or older. In addition, a lot of companies in The Town of Boston and Metro Boston will be competing in a Corporate/Workplace Challenge. Erin Sikorski: Awesome but should use some features It would be nice if you should allow the apk know when you are parked in a parking lot while using your smartphone so it doesn't count versus your score for smartphone distraction. You also can't tell the apk when you are a passenger in a vehicle, you have to turn off the gps so it doesn't count versus you.

Scott Pierce: Too picky Awesome idea, but it's unrealistic. If someone pulls out in front of you and you hit the brakes, you lose points. If you do the speed of traffic on highway ramps, you're speeding. It's too unrealistic and unforgiving... I'll probably uninstall...
