Braw Bagpipe Tuner (Formally Accord Bagpipe Tuner) has been written specifically for the tonal and tuning requirements of the Bagpipes, and uses highly advanced pitch detection algorithms which have been further customized for the pipes. Thanks to our fresh QuantumNote technology, the Braw Bagpipe Tuner revolutionizes tuning with it's ability to quickly and accurately analyse the tuning of all notes on your chanter while you are playing a tune. This is far superior to all another tuning ways, which rely on holding a single note, as even the best users will adjust their blowing slightly when holding a single note. Our QuantumNote technology allows you to analyse the tuning when it matters the most - when you are playing! Using QuantumNote, the apk is aware of bagpipe ornamentation, and even uses this knowledge to assist build an accurate tuning effect. * Tune chanter while playing - good for going round the members of a band and checking the tuning without stopping the practice! * More accurate tuning - receive the tuning as it actually sounds when playing * Simple drone tuning - keeps separate results for Bass and Tenor drones The tuner is responsive, accurate and precise. It it also written to be efficient, so you don't need and expensive smartphone or smartphone to be able to run it. The efficiency also means it has relatively low battery consumption. The tuner lets you tune your chanter and drones based on a reference Low A calibrated to your chanter. The tuner automatically detects which chanter note or drone note you are playing, based on what is the loudest/closest to your devices microphone. The gauge will then indicate how sharp or flat your chanter note or drones are, allowing you to tune them to achieve sweet sounding pipes. To suit your preference, various chanter tuning schemes can be chosen. An optional high contrast theme can be set for outdoor use. Denny D.: Works well for indoor use. The screen contrast is almost impossible to see in sunlight otherwise it would receive more stars. With better outdoor contrast this will be the best bagpipe tuner accessible. Edit 7/30/2018: Developers added a high contrast setting for outdoor use. 5 stars!

A Google user: This is a must have for every piper and pipe band. So simple to use and so accurate. I've tuned my whole pipe section while eveyone was plaing. No one had to stop. I've showed how simple it was to tune the drones that one of my tenor drummers now does that for us. Once more, while were in circle playing.

A Google user: Good program, well worth the price. My only request so far is to have a method to name and save configuration settings. I have at least one highland chanter, a smallpipe chanter, and a borderpipe chanter that I switch between playing. It would be good if I should easily switch between settings appropriate for each.

Ian McIntyre: Worth every penny. I didn't use the gratis ver initially I just jumped in feet first (how atypical). The features are well geared to setting up a set of pipes as opposed to tuning a guitar. Reduced tuning time. People are too used to spending $1 or $2 for an apk. This is worth it at $20.Thank you!

Malcolm Odell: Good apk. 1 little point - When trying to set the reference pitch manually in outdoor mode, the font background colour choice makes it completely unreadable (black on purple?) and then it doesn't display the decimal points when typing it in. Would be nice if that should be fixed.

Ross Blair: I've not quite got the hang of this yet, but when it says my drones are tuned they're about a semi-tone out which is where I receive it myself anyway. I've calibrated the Low A but yet the drones still tune wrong. any assist would be appreciated
