Brimming with art, life and beauty, the Garden is a sacred place to honor Breonna Taylor and celebrate someone you miss. Breonna’s Garden evolved from a healing program for her family to a healing program for the nation. We made the Garden to honor the life of Breonna Taylor with the intention that it be a peaceful refuge, unencumbered by the weight of the globe. It is a sanctuary where her name can be said without negation and where you can give yourself a moment to surrender and allow go. We have a responsibility to protect the memory of loved ones who we have lost as a consequence of injustice. And while Breonna died in a globe of violence, she will live on in peace surrounded by attractive memories, butterflies, and her favorite things. In the Garden, we created a choice to immortalize the love and joy that filled her life. The experience incorporates the things that brought a smile to Breonna’s face. Search a quiet place where you feel comfortable to share your feelings and leave a bit of walking room around you.
