  • Joshua Steveson: I originally had the iOS ver of the apk. Sadly, it was better there, but I'm hoping with some help the android device ver will catch up. Despite this mild disappointment, this is an perfect apk! It's a good method to hold track of beers you've had and receive some suggestions on fresh beers to test. I like adding tasting notes on top of star ratings, so I know what I wish to have once more! If you say it needs more beers, ADD them yourself! That is other cool function of the apk. One caveat is that it's not the easiest thing to do and the weakness of the find engine plays into the difficulty, but I'm hoping these will receive fixed in an modernize if enough people realize how good the apk is! Other good thing is you can log onto their site and navigate more easily (by linking my acc I didn't lose any of my ratings from iOS!).

  • A Google user: This is one of the better beer rating apks I've use. I like the flexibility of being able to give beers a 1/2 point ratings and change the rating up or down later. The strength of the apk is the suggestions it makes based of my current beer ratings, it's the main reason I started using the apk. That said the apk needs more beers and more ratings for beers to be a 5 star apk, I'm hoping that will come with time. There are occasional bugs like blank screens, find doesn't turn up a beer that is in the data base, and of course some beers not in the data base yet. I've added a couple myself and hope others do too, to strengthen the suggestions. Also the apk doesn't seem to synch well with the gps, doesn't seem to know where I am sometimes and says no bars etc in the place when I know there are submitted places nearby that turned up in the past
