A Brightid is a private identifier that allows you to keep rights and benefits based on your ability to prove that you're a special person.* Unlike a government identifier such as a Social Safety Number, a BrightID is self-issued and verified by close mates or relatives. Private data is not shared with a central organization. To become verified and keep a BrightID score, create connections and form groups with the people you already know well.
