  Mike BR: Just bought the paid ver. Good. Now I can use Tasker to say the SMS through my old mono BT set when they arrive. Good for when I'm driving or around the house without the smartphone! I use a Galaxy S4 and set Tasker profile with a) State: BT is on and b) Happening: SMS arrived. Then Task to a) Audio notification (so I'm not frightened by sudden voice in my ear) b) Speak SMS info and c) Cancel notification. On my S4 I set the task to use Samsung voice, but it could work with Google's voice as well. All it needs now is a Tasker plug-in (detect if on/off, and turn on/off/toggle).

  A Google user: Comming from Nokia (symbian), i thought easy bluetooth functions like listening to media on a regular earpiece had been standard for years. BTmono fixes this android device limitation as awesome as is possible within the android device OS. The most you'll have to do is cycle it off and then back on once in a while, usually after you've reconnected your headset. The apk provides simple access to do this from the notification bar. BTmono has handled system sounds,media, and call audio seamlessly for me so far.

  A Google user: I am using the original Blueant Interphone mono motorcycle helmet headsets. They worked ok for smartphone and media (GPS and melody) with my Driod original. However when I upgraded to a Driod 4 only the headset/handsfree profile (smartphone only) would work. I should not receive melody or the Google Navigation (GPS) apk to work with my headset. Melody wasn't an problem, but I required the Google Navigation on the motorcycle headset! Loaded this apk, turned it on and PRESTO! All is right with my Andriod!

  Adam Kautz: Good! I didn't think this apk was going to work because it was made so long ago, but I'm actually able to record audio using my LG bluetooth headset with my stock Verizon Samsung S7 running Android device 7! I can now record WhatsApp audio messages and another audio recordings using my Bluetooth headset which is especially useful when driving in my vehicle or riding my bicycle. Perfect!

  Can Dogancan: I tried all apks on my smartphone but only BTMono worked. I use Plantronics Discovery 925. Widget is a awesome idea and works well. Sound quality is awesome loud and clear, necessary for GPS directions. Sometimes after a smartphone call you need to tap the widget once or twice. Not excellent but does the job. Paid ver does not create any difference but I am satisfied to pay for this good work.

  A Google user: I always wear my bluetooth earpiece because I like to have both hands gratis and I spend a lot of time on the smartphone for work. Needing to be tethered to my smartphone with a physical cable is highly annoying and is beautiful much why there are bluetooth earpieces in the first put. I took the possibility of losing a dollar and bought this bonus ver for my AT&T HTC One X and Plantronics PLT 510 earpiece. Sound quality is nowhere near a stereo headphone, but that is to be expected and does not detract from this terrific application. I'm now able to be "unattached" to my smartphone.

  Nathaniel Bronner: I use this apk to record audio on video. I used to use the FV5 camera apk but this works much better because FV-5 does not let you to use the front camera and Bluetooth audio. This works extremely well for recording Bluetooth audio on either a video on the smartphone or even an audio recording using a Bluetooth headset. Also this unit has a widget that allows you to easily turn Bluetooth off and on as well as an indicator in the notification bar. Super apk!
